Greek Life: Very diverse greek organizations on campus who are always present around campus.

Athletics: My response would be an A if not for the lack of respect for visiting teams exhibited by the student body. In general Florida State students behave themselves in the stands, but there is large group of students who have no respect for visiting parents and alumns.

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus housing in Tallahassee includes living spaces in every price range and within walking distance of the school. Overall, great for any prospective student.

Scholarships: Because Florida offers Bright Futures Scholarships, undergraduate education is extremely affordable, not to mention Florida's low-cost of tuition relative to the rest of the country. Florida State also offered me an academic competitiveness scholarship, so they do their fair share off offering scholarships to qualified students.

Greek Life: In my opinion, Greek life is simply an extension of high school popularity wherein students are willing to pay to be a part of a select group that stands out among the rest of the student body. They do annual philanthropies but it is simply a dog and pony show to justify the flagrant disregard for academics as a priority.

Campus Housing: I have not lived on school campus.but the dorms and are A class style living along with different options of close off-campus living.all of the needs ofthe students were taken inti consideration and it shows in the new dorms and off campus housing.the dorms are kept clean everyday and resident assitants are readily available.

Guys & Girls: You can expect to find a diverse bunch of guys and girls at florida state.of course there are groups of both sexes that believe everyone else should worship the ground they walk on but those groups only account for a small portion of the student population.the girls are great looking overall and the guys dont follow to far behind.everyone is friendly and helpful are campus and town.really feel as though i made the best college in florida state.

Local Area: There are a few malls you could choose to visit while tallahassee.great national parks and vibrant nightlife.great location from other universities in the area within five mile is the univertsity's chief objective and go through great lengths to provide an atmosphere condusive to learning.

3 College Junior

Weather: Especially right now in the summer, its super rainy and not fun to be on our campus, no matter how beautiful it is.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: We have a very attractive student body. Inside and out. We have so many different walks of life and interests collaborating to make a melting pot of fun college culture and an excellent educational environment. Just wish people would worry more about their integrity and being decent and less about how they are going to get drunk tonight.

Diversity: FSU has an excellent International program where we attract students from all over the world. We have an extremely diverse population and like most places there are still some minor racial barriers and passionate political opinions. Over all though, we have a very accepting vibe on campus. Welcoming and fun for whoever!

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life dominates FSU, but as someone who does not participate in a Frat, the greek life gets annoying.

5 College Senior

Majors: My internship will be student teaching. I heard it's a lot of work, but worth it in the end

Off-Campus Housing: If you want to live off campus and near the campus, you can not procrastinate to find housing arrangements.

4 College Senior

Diversity: All the friends I have met, are extremely accepting to people of different religious, political, sexual orientation, and economic backgrounds.

4 College Senior

Administration: Campus social life at Florida State is the best there is. School spirit is outrageous! Always opportunities to meet new friends.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I, personally, was not able to get much help with financial aid mainly because my parents receive a high enough income for them to not really want to do anything for me as far as tuition and work/study programs are concerned. I do have bright futures and Florida prepaid to pay for my tuition costs and the University does offer several scholarships you just have to look for them.

4 College Junior

Administration: While the campus is pretty strict about underage alcohol use, they really don't affect student's lives off campus. With that being said, anyone can drink legally or illegally and the university cannot do anything about it. Most people keep their partying off campus anyway. Our academic honor policy about keeping people from cheating and plagiarism is pretty set and stone in everyone's minds, but for good purpose.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: During the day, FSU's campus is pretty safe, there's usually many people wherever you go so there is low crime rate when there's light outside. However, at night there have been several reports of attempted battery, theft, and even rape on and near campus. Most of the time these incidences happened when people were walking alone after midnight. The Tallahassee police seem to be pretty good at doing their job, though.

3 College Junior

Weather: Its Florida so its always hot even in our so called winters which last like 2 weeks lol. In the summer, expect rain because its hurricane season but the weather is always beautiful.

Off-Campus Housing: Very reasonably priced and flexible with leasing options. Also has a lot of great amenities that come included like being furnished and having cable internet and electricity!

3 College Junior

Greek Life: It doesn't matter whether you're part of an organization or not, but it is definitely something to look into because they look very interesting.

3 College Junior

Parking: Its free but definitely fills up quick. And the campus is huge to get around on foot when your classes are across campus.

4 College Junior

Party Scene: Very active college town. Has a lot of events always advertised around town and very controlled so it doesn't get out of hand.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Varsity sports are huge at FSU (predominantly football and basketball). Tailgates last for hours, as well as the after game parties. Everyone dresses up head to toe and will scream their head off on their way to and from the game as well as during it. Our warchant is one to be reckoned with. The traditions of Chief Osceola and Renegade running across the field and Chief Osceola planting the spear on the 50-yard line is hugeeee at getting the crowd going, as well as our AWESOME marching band.
