Greek Life

{{ error }}
5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Members of Greek Life are present in almost all of the 126 organizations present on campus and some members are the presidents of such organizations as the Campus Activities Board and American Society of Civil Engineers. The view of Greek Life as a whole depends on the person viewing it, to some they are a Godsend with all of the community service and philanthropy dollars raised in support for the impoverished surrounding community; while to others they are seen as the stereotypical Greek Life and are misjudged by people who do not have all of their facts in the right places. If the people who look down on Greek Life as a whole would come out to the events that are put on and see the good that the Greek community does I am positive their opinions would be easily changed. It is the stereotypes of the party hard neglectful fraternities and sororities that have created the illusion that this is all the Greeks are good for. As for the housing, there is technically a separate off campus area owned by the school that is designated for Greek living, but it is also inhabited by random flight students and other non Greeks that were allowed to move into rooms that would otherwise be occupied by Greek students.

Greek Life: The Greek housing options are very cheap alternatives to campus housing!
