Off-Campus Housing: I personally have never lived off campus but I've met a few students who do and they seem quite happy with it.

Off-Campus Housing: There are a few places to live off-campus that all the students live. Kinda far maybe 15-20 minutes from campus, not enough parking though.

Off-Campus Housing: There are a lot of different apartment complexes within 15 minutes of the campus, the availability just varies throughout different times of the year. But most are reasonably priced.

Off-Campus Housing: Moving into my first house this coming semester, landlords are a tad difficult. They are remodeling our house so thats a benefit, this year finding houses are very hard compared to last year. Houses closest are in San Carlos but you have to find the right area because some parts are dangerous while others are nice.

Off-Campus Housing: Nothing close is in a college students budget.

The off-campus housing options are readily available. There are a lot of different options, including apartments, houses, and condos. Availability is great, but locations are scattered. The most popular off-campus place would have to be Coastal Village, which seems like a nice place to live, as it gets really great reviews from FGCU students.

The housing costs per student range from $435 a month all the way to $800 a month. It all depends on what you are looking for, how far you want to live from campus, and how much you can afford. All of the options are very nice, as Fort Myers is generally a nice area in which to live.
