5 College Senior

Diversity: Not too diverse. I'd say the perfect amount

4 College Freshman

Diversity: FGCU is a very accepting school, like many colleges, it has a very diverse number of students attending every year. I have never come across any from of prejudice during my time on campus. There are many clubs and organizations established for the various minority, LGBT, religious and political belief groups, so everyone within the community fits in nicely.

Diversity: There are mostly white christian conservatives here

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There is a lot of diversity and it opens my eyes to the world around me and makes me more aware.

2 College Junior

Diversity: The majority of the school are middle income white students. There really isn't that much diversity.

The diversity on campus ranges, but mostly, FGCU is not a melting pot. But despite the University not being the most diverse school, the people who do come from minorities and unique backgrounds are very well-accepted.

At FGCU, everyone gets along with each other. While boys will roughhouse, it's uncommon for a fight to break out on campus. Also, for diversity, there is a range of different interests that have common ground on campus. There are many sports, clubs, organizations, and volunteer work opportunities for students to immerse themselves in. All in all, the campus is pretty well rounded for not being a "diverse" school.
