Most FGCU students really like the food options on campus. Some students wish there were more options on campus, but overall, FGCU has a great selection. The SoVi Dining Hall has a good variety of food; however, it's not something many are able to eat at every day, as it can get repetitive. SoVi and The Perch are both set up buffet-style, but SoVi is a lot better than The Perch, as the hours are definitely more reasonable. All in all, students have nice dining options.
FGCU offers a lot of other places to eat at on campus other than just the dining halls (SoVi and The Perch). The University has Starbucks, Subway, Jamba Juice, Taco Bell, and Einstein Bros. Bagels, and the school is adding three to five additional places. Florida Gulf Coast University offers a great deal of dining options, whether you would like to enjoy a nice sit-down dinner or perhaps grab a quick bite before class—FGCU has it all.
