Drug Safety: I don't hang in those types of circles so my review wouldn't be the greatest.

First and foremost, drugs and alcohol are not allowed or tolerated on FAMU’s campus. Students generally follow these rules, and drugs and alcohol are not noticeable on campus. Sure, some students may partake in these things off campus, but that happens at any university. In general, FAMU students take pride in their school and respect it enough not to break the rules. In addition, there is always security around, so students are more likely to get caught at FAMU.

Many students are not pressured to use drugs or drink, either. The students who do these things do it because it is their choice. However, if any students is caught violating the rules outlined, they will be penalized. The Department of Judicial Affairs is responsible for disciplining students. Penalties can include community service, a letter of reprimand, counseling, suspension, or even expulsion. So, students are advised not to participate in offenses that would harm themselves or their peers.
