Greek life is fairly average in scope. Students do not have to join an organization to have fun, and there is little to no effect on the social scene. Most non-Greeks are indifferent to the Greeks and do not see them any differently than themselves. Greek organizations are semi-active on campus. They take part in fundraisers, bring different events to campus, and do a lot of work in the community. Around campus, many of the students involved can be seen representing their organization by wearing their sorority or fraternity letters.
There is not that much housing that is available for the members in the Greek organizations. They live in pretty average housing like other non-Greek members off campus, and there is no special housing for them. The process of getting into a Greek organization is seen as pretty easy. Each organization has different requirements and a different process for a student to be asked to join, though.
