Campus Food

4 College Senior

Campus Food: I really like the variety. It seems to fit anyones need from those who are trying to eat healthy to those who are looking to enjoy themselves a little more. The only downside is the expense of the Rock Cafe.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: you get tired of the rock after a while and the UC has really bad food

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Food: The location to the hall is convenient but the price is obnoxious

4 College Junior

Campus Food: I love being able to walk out my door, stroll for about 2-3 minutes and be at the Rock. It's such an ease to get to and the food there is pretty good, while the cleanliness is upkept.

The availability of dining on campus is quite good. There are three different dining facilities that are located around the campus, most offering an all-you-can-eat buffet option. For Ferris students, there is an unlimited amount of meals that a person can have. There are about four different meal plans that only differ in the amounts of money that can be spent at Quiznos, The Market, and Starbucks. They also each offer a specific amount of visitors' passes that can be used on other people without a meal plan.

After a while, there is not too much variability of the meals that is offered unless you continually change the place where you eat. All of the dining facilities offer healthy options, including salads. Ferris is currently trying to give students healthier options and a variety of food, including specialized foods for vegetarians and vegans. The newest facility redone is the Rock Café. This dining facility offers a wide array of  foods and is a modern facility. Future students who visit the campus get a free meal here at the end of their tour!
