3 College Freshman

Athletics: The sports teams get their own gym which is understandable, but it leaves the normal students such as myself with a smaller gym and a running track upstairs. It's okay for the average person, but doesn't have a wide variety of machines or any duplicates so it can be frustrating having to wait for a matching to open because your body is cooling down as you wait.

Overall Experience: I like Faulkner because of the small class sizes. It's easy to engage in conversation with my professors and to get any extra help I need. I dislike the wifi though, it can be a major pain when I'm trying to watch the assigned videos for my online classes. the campus is small and beautiful, which I like quite a bit.

Diversity: It's great to have diversity and learn about others culture and beliefs. Faulkner is primarily a Christian school, but we do have some people who aren't Christian. I think it's great they chose to come here because it's such a good influence to everyone.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: I am not into Greek life; however, they are always helping out and doing crazy things to be in the club. I think it's a great thing and have no bad feelings towards Greek life.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Faulkner has great school spirit. We are a small school and enjoy knowing everyone just about. It's great to watch baseball and basketball. Everyone enjoys the sports here.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: I don't live on campus, so I'm not there much during the night hours. However, I feel like parties are very minimal.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: I've never been invited to a party so I'm not sure how they are carried out or what goes on at them.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel more than safe on campus! Everyone is always very friendly! No creeps or weirdos. The campus police do a great job monitoring the area as well.

5 College Freshman

Academics: I enjoy all the professors I have. They are all very willing to help you succeed. I love being in a place where everyone cares and takes the time to understand me as an individual.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Faulkner does its very best to help students get a job immendialty after graduating. The employers at Faulkner really care about you and your education. They do their best to make it easier on your part. They go out of their way to help you, and that's very respectable.

4 College Senior

Academics: Professors are great. They are a great help with registration and encourage you to get ahead. There are lots of study places on campus, outside, library, coffee shop, etc.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Professors have been great. They try to help the students and actually seem to care.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: The people try to help the students find jobs and internships when needed.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: They appear to be good.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: Everyone encourages students to be part. They perform a huge musical number each year as their big thing. Most the students are nice about it.

4 College Senior

Athletics: Our sport teams do really well. Several of the students are big fans of sports. The faculty are also good supporters and encouragers.

2 College Senior

Diversity: Faulkner does not have a lot of diversity. I'm not sure if it's so much their fault as it is the location. You don't see a lot of diversity in Montgomery, Alabama

3 College Senior

Academics: Workload varies based off the course and the professor. The registration process is pretty easy. They allow you to do this yourself once you're a junior. They do have options for those with learning disabilities. I do not think that Faulkner has any special pr popular study areas. Some people do like the fireplace room for studying or napping. There are options as to academics but there are no nursing, architecture, visual arts or international studies programs at Faulkner

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: The classes are generally pretty small. The small class sizes makes it easier for you to talk to your professors. They are mostly ready and happy to help you in any way that they can. As you get into your major those classes are offered less. Like some classes will be offered every other fall semester. Class styles will vary based on professor

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: There is not a career center at Faulkner. They do have career fairs twice a semester. A surprising number of Faulkner employees have graduated from Faulkner. I am not sure if they discuss how to get a job in your field after you graduate. Internships are required for graduation

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: Faulkner does have their own police department. All of their officers are trained. Faulkner does provide us with a list of nearby health departments. They do not however educate about birth control

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: There aren't a lot of housing options on campus but that is fine since the population is not that great. You will never have to share a bathroom with more than one other person. The same goes for a room. If you're sharing a room you'll only have to share it with one other person. You get free laundry on campus. There are 4 different dormitories and 5 apartment buildings on campus.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: I do not really have time for a social club. Nor do I care much about it. I know that a lot of people are involved in the social clubs on campus and they really enjoy it. I am just not one for forced bonding, or paying for friends

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: It depends on what you're looking for. Faulkner is a pretty small church of Christ school. That is something that needs to be kept in mind. It is very small and really religious. It's not bad though. For me it was more of an adjustment

3 College Senior

Athletics: It's hard for me to answer these questions. I'm mostly working or at the theatre so I don't spend a lot of time socializing with others outside of the theatre department. I would say just from what I've seen we have a pretty good school spirit. Everyone is proud of all of our athletics. The teams play pretty good. I hear that we go to playoffs sometimes. We're pretty high ranking in the NAIA
