4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Our campus isn't a partying campus so while physically on campus or in the dorms, there isn't a lot of girls getting drunk here. However, many students go to clubs or bars with fake IDs and get their fix there. However, being on campus itself is pretty safe.

Drug Safety: We have a very strict dry campus that students do not violate. To partake in substance use, students would have to find drugs and alcohol elsewhere.

Drug Safety: FIT is very strict regarding drugs and I don't see many students who would violate those rules.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Drugs are not noticeably used on FIT campus to my knowledge.

Drug Safety: You dont really see too much drinking happening besides when the trash gets taken out. Most go off campus as there arent any real dorm parties ever. But you know those who do drugs and most of the time the dorms smell like weed,

As it is at any college, the FIT campus is very strict about drug use. Those involved keep it on the down low. There are potentially high risks for getting caught with drugs at FIT, especially for those that live in the dorms. Those caught using drugs are subject to academic probation and can possibly be kicked out of the residence halls. Thus, because of the consequences, many students choose to abstain from drug use and abuse. In addition, there's no pressure to partake for those who wish to stay out of the drug scene.

While the vast metropolis of New York City might make it seem like drugs would be easy to find, because FIT is so strict about the issue, finding drugs on campus can be a difficult task.
