Campus Resources: Great student career center and student activities. Students receive help from faculty members in the career center, on how to apply for internships and jobs. The student activity center is always hosting and announce great events for students. Such as inviting guest speaking alumni, to speak to students about their success after graduating from FIDM.

Campus Resources: FIDM offers inclusion into multiple on campus clubs which offer activities, meetings and volunteer opportunities each week. We have the best library resources that include fashion forecasting and trends books that are extremely helpful for the design programs, endless amounts of cartier and vogue books and a lot of magazine subscriptions that are constantly updated.

FIDM has a plethora of great resources that students often don't utilize because they may not know that all of them even exist. In terms of technology, Studio East and West are great resources, with more than 100 computers and laptops, equipped with necessary student programs, color printers, and scanners, which are free for students. Digital Productions (first level) is also helpful, as an area for graphics and digital media students to add effects and edit their work. With studying and research, the FIDM Library (third floor) includes three resource rooms: a media room, a textile room, and an interior design room. There are also "Vogue" periodicals and current trend predictives within the 35,000-plus holdings of the FIDM Library. For career advisement, the Career Center (second floor) helps students write their resumes, build portfolios, and find jobs and internships. Alumni can also use the Career Center as a resource. On the fourth floor is Student Advisement and Counseling, where students can go to get answers to general questions, scheduling advice, and financial planning.

Aside from resources that help students with their studies, there are also assets involving student entertainment. The Museum Gallery (first level facing Grand Hope Park) is where FIDM puts on exhibits that are free and open to the public. If students want to buy some designer threads or funky accessories, they can shop at the Scholarship Store (first level facing Grand Avenue), which features very low-priced apparel, shoes, and accessories, along with slightly damaged goods that usually need small repairs (easy for FIDM students). The Annette Green Perfume Museum (second floor) is one of two in the world. Open to the public, the museum is great for students to see how things were packaged and advertised by huge designers like Chanel, Dior, and Givenchy.

Halloween Costume Competition: Halloween on the FIDM Campus is nothing short of interesting. There is an annual costume competition held right in front of Grand Hope Park, where students dress up and walk the runway, and there is a panel of judges.
Unique Features
  • Digital Productions: Digital Productions is something that sets us apart as a campus. It is on the first level in the Rotunda, where there is a green screen room, sound proof room, and reviewing room for graphics and digital media students to work on their projects. Also, this is where the FIDM Radio is done.
  • Grand Hope Park: We have Grand Hope Park right outside our campus. Though it is privately owned, it is open to the public, and students are always utilizing it personally, or clubs often use it for activities and events.
