3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: My major has a heavy workload as it requires many math, physics, and science classes.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The class registration process is very straightforward. Registration is done online, and each student is assigned a specific day/time to sign up. Evergreen provides free tutoring for a variety of courses during the day. This school is also unique because many class sizes are small enough for teacher-student interaction.

College Freshman

Online Courses: I have not taken an online course.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: All of the credits I take at Evergreen are transferrable.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Students can go to the library and check out books, print papers, and find research materials. Sometimes there are campus activities where presentations, speeches, and shows happen.

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Because of financial aid, I can take all the units I need and pay a small amount.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: There are fliers around school and emails sent to students about career opportunities and internships. I've seen fliers about teaching internships.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: There is a lot of diversity in age, culture, and ethnicity at Evergreen. It's great to learn about the world through different perspectives.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are many resources on campus. All the students are able to go to the library, check out books, print papers, and go to the student store. The student store has textbooks, school clothing, and school supplies.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The student body at my school is very diverse. Each class i have taken has an equal amount of males and females. Also there are many different ethnicities at my school. At my school most or all people are accepted you just have to fill out an application for admission online.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My experiences with my courses and professors i have taken have been great. During class if you have any questions the teacher will answer it right away. You do not have to wait until the end of the class. Also, if you did not understand something from the class or a homework assignment the teacher will explain it again. The classes sizes are somewhat small so the teacher can answer everyone questions.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Student career prospects and the value of a degree from this school are great. My school offers both A.S. and A.A. degrees, so if you want to work after graduating you can. There are college fairs at this school where college representatives come from different schools. Also, the school website announces when college representatives are coming to visit the school.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I believe my school's tuition is great, and it is not that expensive. The financial aid process is easy. You fill and application and take to the office. The financial aid office tells you right away whether you qualify or not. I believe i am receiving a great education and it is worth the tuition i paid. My education is worth it, because the professors i have had explain what we are learning very clearly and homework and quizzes are announced with time.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's a great help for underprivileged students.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I find it much better to take online courses.

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: The online course that I have taken was easy. Had some difficulty in using the online course and if I didn't know what to do, I would sometimes be lost.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I consider this college to be pretty average. It is starting to get a little older and could use a few upgrades.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The RN program has a set schedule that every student needs to take, so there is no room for flexibility in class schedules.

College Junior

Online Courses: I have never taken an online class at this school.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I've never had an incident where I was surprised by a fee. They are pretty strait forward about how much everything costs.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The main reason to attend this school is to obtain your first degree before transferring to a different college

3 College Junior

Career Services: I'm currently attending a community college and am not ready to transfer to a post-grad school. However, when I transferred from my previous college to this college, the process was relatively painless.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm currently a nursing major enrolled in a RN program. The school has a predetermined set of classes each semester that every student is required to take. This usually includes lectures, labs and two days spent in the clinical setting. Our last 8 weeks of the program is spend doing a preceptorship with a RN at one of the hospitals. The workload is challenging and I spend most of my free time studying, but that's not unexpected.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The only reason why I'm attending this school is for the RN program. So, I'm not familiar with the other professors, class registration process, etc.

3 Recent Alumnus

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tutition is too high. state of California $46 unit. I don't get any financial aid because I make too much money with my job but don't make enough to afford a 4 year college. This is why I need scholarship money to help me afford my bachelors degree
