Diversity: As a minority, it's always a red flag when a school presents itself as liberal because that attracts two kinds of people - die hard liberals and "kill all liberals" kind of people. What ends up happening is all these white people fight about racial issues and never let minorities speak. All these straight and cis people are fighting about gender and sexuality while the minorities aren't given a turn to speak. Etc. etc.

Diversity: As a student of color, I feel there is a welcoming community for Afro-Latinos, but as a mixed student I find it difficult to identify with other students of color. There is a sense of "I've struggled more than you" competitions is all minority groups that makes it hard to see it as inclusive.
