5 College Sophomore

Academics: Academics at evergreen are great.

4 College Junior

Academics: The academics vary greatly by professor, level, and class. If you research your class, your professors and whats required of you before hand, you can get a very good idea of what your quarter will look like.

4 College Freshman

Academics: The work is rigorous and the courses well-constructed.

5 College Junior

Academics: Evergreen program are interdisciplinary and I love the way learning about the same concepts from different angles helps me integrate the knowledge more fully. I chose Evergreen because of the interdisciplinary programing.

4 College Junior

Academics: Evergreen is a great learning community because it allows students to think differently about their education in terms of how we process information, but as well as opportunities to voice our opinions about a topic or reading in class. In a formal college setting you don't get the opportunity to do that it's more of a lecture, take notes, study, and then take a test. At Evergreen sure you may have a few tests or quizzes, but they won't be graded rather critiqued and given advice on how to improve on answers the next time around. Evergreen is truly a wonderful place to "learn how to learn". A saying that is quite common here.
