I really love Evangel! It is a great school with an amazing spiritual environment. God moves on the campus in a way that I have never seen. The campus is welcoming, and the Professors and staff are all nice. I like the classes and professors a lot. There are definitely problems with the organization of the admissions and financial aid departments. I have been very upset with their lack of communication and short notice on things. Also, the food service at Evangel is terrible. They need to improve the quality of food and I believe they should considering how much we pay for it. Adding an on-campus Chick-Fil-A or Chipotle or something would be great. On a more positive note, Evangel is making huge strides in development and renovation. For example, they just renovated my dorm over the summer, and it is amazing. Each room as their own AC/heat which they can adjust, and each floor has a kitchen. The school also is currently building a new sports facility which looks amazing.
Evangel University is located in the city of Springfield, MO. I lived here when I was very young, and I always remember my parents talking about how Springfield is a great place to raise a family! As a student at E.U., I have come to love the atmosphere and activity of this place. College can be kind of a bubble; however, we are encouraged to get off campus and participate in the community.
What do I like about Evangel? -- Definitely the Christ-centered focus, Spiritual Emphasis Week and a smaller student body
What do I not like about Evangel? -- All of the construction projects currently happening on campus to improve the quality of student life. It's SO noisy. But the new facilities sure are nice :-)
What would I like to see change? -- Healthier selection of cafeteria food.
Do I feel safe on the campus? -- Yes, the Univ Security team does a great job.

It has a great community with many connections within the AG however, the city of Springfield is pretty run down.
