3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Sense it is a private school, Eureka really try's to give out a lot of scholarships and grants to make it affordable.

Party Scene: The parties at eureka are great! In order to get into a party you need to be invited; if your not on the list you will be asked to leave. However this is always a way to make your name present to get on the party lists! They are really chill and safe. There is a cop that comes around and all the under aged freshman and sophomores hold up their wrist bands to show they have not been drinking. There isn't a moment I feel unsafe!

Overall Experience: Overall, I really enjoy my campus. Ever sense I was younger, I was not into being in a crowded space, which makes Eureka so perfect! Everyone here is so kind, sweet, and loving. One important note is that sense Eureka is a division three school, students can try new activities and are still welcomed with open arms. I love my school!

Off-Campus Housing: The off-campus housing is few and far between and most people don't like it.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: The parties are either everyone getting drunk or a few people dancing to songs not everybody knows or even likes.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Bugs everywhere but the dorms are still somewhat nice.

2 College Freshman

Campus Food: Sometimes they have really good food but it doesn't look good.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: Obviously in Illinois there are quite a few democrats but there are a shocking amount of republicans because of how far away from the big cities we are.

Off-Campus Dining: Better than on-campus dining but there aren't many options in the town. Have to go to other towns around us for food.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Not always the cleanest, bugs all over the showers and dorms but very safe.

4 College Freshman

Local Area: There isn't much to do but it's amazing to be here.

2 College Sophomore

Athletics: More focus on academics not sports

5 College Freshman

Majors: I am beyond happy with my program. I intend to be a large animal vet and this is the school to get the education. I have no concern about finding a job in my field.

Majors: The professors work hand in hand with the students to prepare them. They give mock interviews and help them set up internships and mentorships around the world

Off-Campus Dining: We have a lot of great dinning opportunities in Eureka with a lot of discounts. if people want more of a variety they can drive ten minutes to Washington or Peoria

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The police officers are always visible and willing to help people. The health center is affiliated with the Eureka hospital because the hospital is a mile away from the campus so students can go there for a problem at a discount.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Eureka is a small enough town that a person can live as far a way as possible and still make it to class within 10 minutes. a lot of people actually commune or stay with friends.

Campus Quality: One unique thing about are school is that President Ronald Reagan went here. Eureka is the place where he found his voice and we have a whole museum and library dedicated to him.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The teachers and students are all a family. It is a small enough school where everyone knows everyone so we are all there for each other if they go through a hard time

Campus Housing: It varies from building to building but the people are always wonderful. We have a lot of living-learning communities where you pick all the people on your floor and a certain topic (food, academics) that you are going to focus on all year.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: If a person really wants to drink, they can find someone to give them alcohol. fortunately a student is not treated any differently if they don't drink or do drugs.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: There are a lot of really awesome parties. They also make sure that underage people have a band on so that they cannot drink

3 College Freshman

Administration: students can get away with anything as long as they do it behind closed doors

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food is pretty unhealthy and not the best quality

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: The majority of people on campus are Greek. The Greeks are also very involved on campus. There are not many activities in which there are not at least one Greek member that is involved.
