4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I live off campus and love the freedom! I am not fond of my landlord, but that will be changing soon :)

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Coming from a small town, there are lots of yummy options here!

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Parking violations are not taken lightly.

College Sophomore

Scholarships: I do not accept financial aid from my college.

College Sophomore

Party Scene: I do not party, as an elementary ed major, you can get into serious trouble if you are underage.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Of course, its a college caf.... nothing compares to Mom's homemade food! But, I have been to colleges that offer worse food than ESU.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I have attended two different colleges, one being a private NAIA school, and the other being Emporia State University. The dorms at ESU are much better than the dorms at the other school I attended. I would recommend living in the dorms the first year because of the amount of social activities that are held there. This is a great way to make life-long friends!

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I live in the renovated dorms, so I have it better off than some other reviewers might, but I also have spent quite a lot of time in Morse, and I know that those dorms aren't awful either. While I think the renovations should continue, it adds great appeal to living on campus, I also wouldn't complain about the quality of any of the rooms. I also love how the freshman dorms have a sky print printer, and think Morse should add one there too.

Academics: The ability to choose your own classes and change them as necessary is great and easy to do. I have found many professors to be great instructors, and I sincerely enjoyed going to their classes. I also love that I can fit in fun electives, like band, without disrupting my scheduling options too much.

College Freshman

Majors: So far, as a freshman, I haven't gotten too far into my major, but I do know I have picked a harder major so my course load will be high every year I attend here. However, I have already found professors whom I know are there should I have problems or questions with my courses. So far I am enjoying my choice, and I hope I continue to do so.

Guys & Girls: I would say there are a lot of people that are single and looking for a relationship of some form. I also say you can meet a lot of people by getting involved in activities that interest you. Plus, the dorms are a great way to be in a community of people. Obviously we live in America, and the dress can be a little lenient for some people, but its not disgusting or anything.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: My financial aid has gone quite smoothly. I not only got a scholarship from the school for high school academics, but also for my involvement in marching band. Plus, I got several scholarships from outside organizations and had no trouble in sending them in to the college.

Administration: It depends on the situation, and who handles what happens.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I have not looked closely at off-campus housing, but from what I hear there are some decent apartments around. The villas seem to be popular, but, again, I have little experience with them.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: It's a college town so there are lots of fast food and recognizable names, but there is also a nice selection of smaller places to go that are different. I have yet to encounter student discounts at a restaurant.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I am in the band and I feel a little disappointed in the small student fan section at most games, but the support is still very tangible.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There is crime no matter where you go but I feel safe on campus.

4 College Junior

Administration: The campus has reasonable policies.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of options in regards to dining.

4 College Junior

Academics: There are amazing academic programs available.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Sports are offered but they aren't that important.
