My experience with my professors has been a good experience for me because not only is my professor my professor but she is also my academic advisor! I am always welcomed into her office with open arms and with tons of answers to whatever questions I have. My class size is fairly average but nothing is average about the individuals that are in my class. Full of different minds and opinions on topics we discuss everyday is very exciting to watch and hear. The course can be challenging but all my professors will give you some sort of way to get a tutor or time to come an visit their office during their office hours, or get you any help you need to be successful.

I find my university to be very student-friendly and easily manageable; both of these qualities make going to and engaging in class something to look forward to and genuinely enjoy. I would choose this university again without a doubt, because it is such a great environment to thrive academically and socially in. Something I really appreciate is how approachable the professors are and how welcoming they make students feel. Overall I love my school. Stingers up!

Clean! Fun! Beautiful! Friendly! Energetic! Perfect!

Emporia State University offers something for everyone. There is an on campus recreation center (kind of like a YMCA, or health club with classes and all). There is always something to do with the campus wide activities, events and club organizations (which love gaining new members!). Many renovations were also being finished in Spring 2012. There is a beautiful large pond located on campus with benches around to sit and watch the ducks and geese. Our Bookstore is also connected with Barnes and Noble- so if you have a Barnes & Noble gift card, why not use it to get a discount on books or textbooks? A tablet? How about some school pride or even class supplies? Oh! And don't forget about all the Hornet athletes! The games are so energetic you can't help but lose your voice! Great times, great memories......great University. Emporia State University is the place to be.
