3 College Sophomore

Parking: The parking lot for freshmen and sophomores is pretty far away, but it is good exercise I suppose. However, if you are a sophomore you have another closer option that fills up quickly, but I am usually lucky and find a spot most of the time. It's not bad though, and you can always call security if you are coming back to campus late at night and they will make sure they send security people to escort you to your dorm building safely.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: It's especially cool that Elizabethtown College allows first-year students to have cars on campus, and it's even better that parking permits are free.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: Lots are kinda far from some dorms

4 College Sophomore

Parking: Parking is accessible and in close walking distance.

3 College Freshman

Parking: First years get the worst parking lot that is about a twenty minute walk to get to.

All parking is free, and it's relatively easy to get a parking pass for guests. Just be sure to have all the right paperwork ready. There are really only a couple issues with parking. The first is that students have to park where they're supposed to. Stick with the assigned lot because parking tickets are popular with campus security. They don't like to ticket students much, but parking is a bit of an issue because there is so little of it. There are times, especially during the weekend, where parking is open and students can park closer to their dorms if the space is available. However, be sure to check when these times are and when they end. One of the big reasons for getting a parking ticket is that students stayed in the wrong lot for too long.

The second issue is the space issue. There are a limited number of spots available that are really close to campus. Otherwise, it is a bit of a small hike. Underclassmen should expect to get the farthest spots. But don’t worry; even the farthest spots are still relatively close because it is a small campus.

Did You Know?
Elizabethtown recently remodeled the Brown lot, which is generally freshman parking. Although some spaces were lost, the other slots were fixed up and reconfigured for safer and easier parking.
