The campus is beautiful and very well maintained. Etown takes great pride in having manicured gardens and lawns. Most of the pathways are lit by old-fashioned street lamps, giving the campus a classy tone. The college is also settled in a residential area, so the streets are quiet without the hustle and bustle of the city. There really isn't much to do on campus, unless student groups have organized events. Luckily, there are events almost every week and weekend. If students really want entertainment though, they tend to head off campus.
The weight room in Thompson gym is a little outdated, but the college has recently been renovating a lot of its older buildings. The Body Shop, a smaller gym located under the Jay's Nest, was recently renovated and now contains more, and newer, elliptical machines and other workout equipment. Some of the dorms are a little old and could use some improvements; however, Etown is constantly making renovations and accepting requests for improvements in dorm life. The High Library is very well stocked, and if a student can't find a book or an article immediately on hand, the college is a part of an inter-library loan system with select colleges. A student places a request to have a book or article sent to Etown, and it arrives within hours or few weeks at most, depending on what the student orders and what time of the semester it is.
