1 College Sophomore

Transportation: i never seen the shuttle bus but i guess there is one

3 College Freshman

Transportation: Basically on this campus if you don't have your own car, there isn't much of a way for you to get around, unless you call a taxi, and the taxi's here are kind of expensive. The shuttle services are only offered to you on Saturdays. Most of the places that anyone would have to go you would have to walk to them.

4 College Senior

Transportation: There are shuttles which go into town for free on the weekends. This makes things more convenient for those who stay on campus but do not drive

1 College Senior

Transportation: The shuttle ins nonexistent, we had it for a few years and then it just stopped running altogether. The taxis are ok but most people don't have the money to pay the taxi every time they have to go somewhere. There .is really no public transportation at all

4 College Senior

Transportation: Shuttle Buses Available – The school provides a shuttle bus to transport students where they need to go and its free so I consider this to be very convenient.

More than half of the student body uses its own car to get from place to place. If students have friends with cars, then they will most likely carpool with their friends. Other means of transportation include the ECSU shuttle bus. The shuttle is designed to transport students across campus and to the most important places students would probably need to go, like Walmart, Food Lion, and the local mall. Many complaints have been made about the University's shuttle bus because it only has a limited number of stops.

Another way that students travel from place to place would be by taxi. However, most students do not have the extra money a taxi costs in order to travel to their necessary destinations, so this option is not as frequently used. Overall, transportation at the University could be improved, but it is tolerable as of now. Hopefully, in the near future, Elizabeth City State University will expand its means of transportation as the campus grows.
