Academic Experience

2 College Senior

Academic Experience: My school doesn't offer medical illustration as a major, so it's difficult to really get information on it.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: My school is very well known for its Healthcare programs such as nursing and really anything in the health field! The registration process isn't too difficult either.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: ECC does not have too much to offer for an animal science major. The internships are no help in my opinion because they focus on other fields like; nursing, engineering, and business. I would like to have more internships or classes that help students prepare themselves for a field that has to do with animals.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Elgin Community College offers students free tutoring for students. This is very helpful when it comes to finals because you could just walk in and stay as long as you want. All the tutors are very helpful, positive, and encouraging. Another great things that ECC offers is the Wright Place. It is where students take their essays to be reviewed or if they need help on them, professors are there. If these programs did not exist, I don't know how students would get through school because we sometimes need a lending hand.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: If you plan on being a Biology/Biology Education major make sure to have a transfer plan. Since it is only a two year school there are only low level Biology courses. The are great and the class registration is all online.
