El Paso Community College's slogan is "The best place to start" and they are right! If you are a high school student that is looking for a college I highly recommend you EPCC. They have the basic programs yet the classes are enriched by the enthusiasm of most of the professors, some of them will really encourage you to register to the Honors Program which gives you benefits if you are planning on later transferring to a University.

Fall 2016 was my first semester in this college. The teachers I had were committed and passionate about the subject; and they were helpful in informing us of the different opportunities the college offered. To add, my councelor was attentive to what I wanted to pursue and adviced me very well about what I needed to do my next semester. In addition, the facilities such as the labs and tutoring centers were an incredible resource I took full advantage of. Overall, I am enjoying continuing my career pathway here as it offers what I personally found important when learning.

Great school to start, I've seen many students transfer out of the local university because of the difficult of large classes and turn to EPCC. It truly is a great placed to start if you're of afraid of being overwhelmed. Classes are small, teachers speak with you face to face, and most subjects have good teachers that really know their stuff!
