Academic Flexibility: I am a very flexible person, i have had to change my personal schedule around but it did not really interfere with anything.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I had a few online and they made the term a lot easier. It fit my schedule and I was able to work at my job at the time. The professors were always in contact with you and replied back quickly. They are definitely different than a class room because it is all through the computer, there really isn't person-to-person contact.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Class sizes are great because they are usually kept small, you really get one on one with the teachers. The courses are pretty easy I like to say. I believe it is pretty easy for you not to flunk out. You have to give 100%.

Overall Experience: This school goes out of its way to make sure that it has many opportunities for you to go out on an internship that is close to where you live, that meets your schedule. Luckily you graduate with an associates degree.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: In the dental assisting program they go above and beyond to make sure that you are trained and competent in everything you need to know. sometimes the workload is a little large but it is all pretty easy. The teachers there are great and they go out of your way to help you in every way needed. Toward the end you end up in two months of internships. Most places hire you and if they don't the school will go above and beyond to make sure you have a job.

Overall Experience: Overall ECPI is a great school, it begins and ends quickly, and they train you very well! The only thing i would change is their policies regarding weather. The south is awful at driving in the snow, ECPI never closes for anything. I have driven over 30 miles that usually takes 35 mins but took over an hour and half to get there because the roads were so bad. Other than that school is great!

Overall Experience: I would not choose this school again. It is a degree factory and they don't care if you actually learn anything

Academic Flexibility: They offer day and night classes and online classes to try to be flexible. Once a schedule is worked out they do pretty good to keep you on it. My adviser was really good about doing what he could each term to get me the schedule I needed. The problem is the school hasn't consistently offered the courses I needed, leaving me classless repeatedly.

1 College Senior

Online Courses: The workload was overkill. I had to neglect my children and my job to have enough time to finish busy work just to make the grade. I had to teach all the material to myself and none of the assignments really had any educational value. There was so much work required that there was no time to actually do any of the required reading that may have had valuable information.

The instructors were hit or miss. Some were horrible and never responded to emails or messages and only contacted you to tell you what you missed. They don't teach anything. They are merely course facilitators and few actually have applicable experience in the subject matter they are teaching.

3 College Senior

Career Services: They try to be good, but fail. They have some employment fairs but rarely adequately prepare the students. They offer resume writing and interview practice, but give little to no quality feedback to bettering performance. They just tell you want you did wrong.

Some of the staff is better than others, but its hit or miss.

They say they help with job placement, and some career advisers try. But most of the time they find minimum wage part time jobs that are loosely related to a career field if you really use your imagination.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Professors are great for the most part. Classes sizes are small and reasonable. That was nice.

Online professors were hit or miss. Some were HORRIBLE, some tried to be legit teachers.

Again the school canceled needed classes for multitude of reasons that never made sense to me. And they can't guarantee courses needed at the end of the program to ensure finishing in time for graduation.

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: The school is a no name degree factory. Employers do recruiting there because of the high number of veterans. They school boasts high career field placement, but do nothing to earn it. Students find their own jobs and then the school takes credit for it to boost their numbers.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I say that it is okay because the faculty for the criminal justice major. They are almost all law enforcement professionals with lots of experience and are eager to talk about real world situations and how to be a good cop, corrections officer, lawyer, or what have you. The instructors are the only good part of this school.

Many of the courses have excessive workloads that are of no value to education. Its just busy work to take up what would otherwise be good time to have discussions and Q&A with the instructor.

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: They were good about filing my GI Bill claims to the VA. But they with held my grant money from me every year. The school was good about scheduling classes for me so I didn't have to worry, however there were several terms the school did not have the classes I required to finish my degree, forcing me to take terms off. Then I was required to justify to the school why I shouldn't be charged re-enrollment fees. Even now I only need 7 classes and they can't promise the classes I need online or in seat in a timely fashion so I can graduate on time.

The school boasts that it is adult friendly, focused on veterans and working adults with adult responsibilities. They are not. The individual instructors for the most part care about their students and their students needs and adult responsibilities, but the school as a whole does not care. The only thing I learned from this program was another level stress and time management. I didn't receive any new information that helps me day to day in my career field. I made some contacts with other professionals in my field, but educationally, I got nothing of value.

ECPI is accredited, but they way they set up their classes and course descriptions almost no other school will accept their credits if you want to change schools. I tried. If I had known what I know now, when I had enrolled originally I would have picked a different school. I would not suggest ECPI to other students.

Overall Experience: Have not taken any classes yet.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I am now in my 3rd term. This is the last term before I start my primary nursing coarse and clinical moving forward. Every five weeks there is a different schedule so it's important that if you are working your employer is willing to work with a flexible schedule.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: At the moment I haven't had the privilege of taking an online class.here at ECPI.

3 College Junior

Career Services: At ECPI graduations is only the beginning. Upon passing the NCLEX the career center is there to help you find that perfect job.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The class sizes between 13-25 students which is perfect. It doesn't overwhelm the instructor which allow that one on one time if needed.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The career center/service is very helpful. Resume and job placements are just some of the ways they are able to help during and after school.
