Health & Safety: Our security guards on campus are usually students, so I don't feel safe to call them if I was in a situation because I don't believe they would be much help.

Overall Experience: There isn't a huge variety of classes. I wish the college would expand their degrees and offer more, but the courses are informative, and the teachers are kind and helpful.

Overall Experience: I haven't seen anything regarding student career prospects. My degree doesn't seem extremely valuable because no one has explained to me what jobs I can get from it.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The teachers are friendly and they want students to succeed. It's just that the degrees they offer are limited. I can't get a double major in Accounting and Business, and that gets me mad that I have to pick one.

Overall Experience: The course have been great and most of my professors have been great. I wish there was a greater selection of courses, programs, and areas of study.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: They sent my acceptance letter to a very outdated address even though I have supplied them with my new address and then kept an undergraduate hold on my account and did not give my advisor my information for her to be able to lift the hold.

3 College Junior

Athletics: There is a limited selection of sports for students to participate in.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: The campus is quite secure.

Greek Life: Housing available, social atmosphere average.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors really want you to succeed and they do their best to help you!

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: The staff at ENMU are personable with students.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am a Computer Science major. Though, I believe that my program is not very well known at ENMU. Majority of the students are usually Music or Business majors. At least, that is the most that I have encountered. The thing I like most is that my degree in choice fits to my personality. While people like Business majors and Music majors get big buildings and publicity, Computer Science majors get to remain as they are. It is a choice that we have. Some Music majors are forced to perform and to show their talent. We have to perform, too. However, we perform in the comfort of ourselves. See, we do not have a big building or many supporters. In fact, many of our instructors are known more for their math skills than anything. We get to choose to be seen or heard. We choose to stay silent and kept. I love it. We get to choose.

Academics: Some of the professors are great, the curriculum isn't bad, the registration process is alright, workload isn't bad. The 18 credit limit is beyond stupid. If a student feels that they are capable of handling more than 18 credits, the school should not have the right to limit it. Especially since it often screw students up when it comes to class rotations. It's a terrible practice and really needs to be cancelled. At the very least go with 21 or higher credits.

Health & Safety: Blue light is a program that needs to be implemented on campus right away. Look it up. While the police drive around campus a lot, they generally only bother the kids who are just playing around and aren't actually doing anything wrong. The police are more worried about speeding than anything else. The cops are kind of a joke. They mostly only mess with the black population, which is just disgusting that police are still so racist.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I've liked most of my classes. Due to a technical error, my final English essay was turned in late, but even after I provided proof that it was completed on time (by having another teacher I had sent the essay to forward it) I was still failed on the essay, which was very extreme. The professor was very hard to communicate with also. I don't like that there is only one professor who teaches CHEM 151 and 152, as he is not a very good teacher and does not provide much help during his office hours. There should be other professors available to choose from. But I have also had some amazing professors who I not only liked personally but also learned a lot from.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Small school, so most businesses and such don't take much notice of us. Also, the administration doesn't spend much time with the higher achieving students' career choices.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I'm in Curry Hall, which I really like. There aren't really any perks for on campus living, other than the things that our RA's organize, which are nice. But I do think that the rules are VERY strictly enforced, and I think they need to be relaxed a bit. Like giving a warning during quiet hours before being written up. I did like the longer quiet hours during dead week and finals week.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: A lot of my girl friends (friends who are girls, like me) are in different sororities and it's nice that I can hang out with them without any issue.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: The big sports are a huge deal, and the gym is definitely geared toward that. But things like the rock climbing gym, which would be a big deal if it were nicer, better advertised, and actually available every now and then, are basically ignored. It's a nice place if all you want to do is lift weights or run on a treadmill.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Administration has some big issues, most of my professors are great but I've been stuck with some terrible ones that are they only ones teaching certain required classes. I wish there was more going on, especially in the town. Everyone clears out every weekend and heads home, since there is nothing to do either at the school or in the town. They don't even have a movie theater. I also think that a car service, such as renting a car from the school, would be a good idea and really help make the time spent there more enjoyable. For now, a lot of people are just bored with the place, which is part of the reasoning the retaining rate is so low.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Safety is really good on campus. Multiple officers from campus police roam the campus all throughout the day. There was a point in time where cars on campus were getting broken into, and immediately campus police emailed students and faculty to warn them about a possible break in. They completely stopped after about a week.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There are a multiple sections and professors for all general education classes, making it easy to schedule classes. Class sizes are generally small, and class style varies from teacher to teacher.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Living on campus is convenient. I've lived in all of the residence halls and all three are nice. When I need to change rooms because of roommate problems, the response from housing was immediate and hassle free. In two of the halls there are full kitchens for student use. The only thing thatmade easy move out of the dorms was the cost. Whole living in the dorms students are required to purchase the most expensive meal plan. That is what made the cost so expensive.
