Registration- As soon as I walked in the door, I was helped. I had uninterrupted one on one discussing my career goals.

Algebra-Not my strong suit. Classes were new this year as you sit in a classroom, but all work is on the pc. The instructor doesn't lecture, but is there to help.

Public Speaking- WOW! My instructor had a huge impact on me. This woman is truly amazing!

Comp 1&2- I aced and loved being the editor on essays.

Basic Computers- instructor was very straight laced, but nice. I found myself wanting to please her.

American Geoghraphy- instructor was going thru a bitter divorce. His wife is from Crimea. I received a C in this class. I knew more about his fights with her than Russia! This dropped me off the Deans List. Disappointed.

The professors are pretty involved with the students here. They seem to really care about our education and helping us learn the material. Since classroom sizes are fairly small, I feel this helps professors and students become closer. The curriculum for the most part is wonderful. I feel that a lot of important classes are available with great professors to teach them. As for the class registartion though, that can get complicated. Certain classes everyone needs and they fill up fast! Some of the advisors for registration I feel do not know what they are doing. I do like that we have the option of registering online or in school. I also like that each department has their own advisors. Its reassuring to know you are talking to someone who is an expert in that field of study.

The faculty is amazing! They sincerely love teaching and helping students. EICC has many programs not offered at all schools like an Honors Program and Phi Theta Kappa, an international honors society for two year colleges. There is a subway on campus. Aside from the regular curriculum classes, this school also offers many different technical degrees and even has a separate culinary arts building.
