Off-Campus Dining: There are so many options off campus! Jimmy John's, Planet Sub, Jethro's, Paul Revere's, etc. Great variety and value!!

Off-Campus Dining: Fernando's raised their prices, so that is really a bummer.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of great places to eat in Des Moines!

Off-Campus Dining: If you have a car or know someone who has a car, the possibilities are endless. Downtown is a 5 minute drive and their are tons of neighboring suburbs around campus that have tons of options. Walking wise though, you are limited. There is a Jimmy Johns, a local chinese place, local sushi place, Subway, Planet Sub, coffee shop, Walgreens, Scooters, McDonalds, Jethro's, Paul Revere's, and a few more. A nice selection, but can get old fast if you don't have a car. If you have a car though, it is very nice.

Off-Campus Dining: Des Moines has a lot of great options for food, pretty much anything you could want they have. If you don't have a car there isn't a ton of places in walking distance but there are the standard sandwich, McD's, sushi, coffee places nearby. Also it's on the weekend at least the public transportation is very accessible (free for students and comes right on to campus) so if you want to go somewhere different you have the option available. If you do bring your own car and aren't from a big town make sure you have a phone with GPS or an actual GPS because or else you will get lost. Also a Walgreens in walking distance to make food yourself.
