Greek Life: Certain sororities and fraternities are cliquey and snobby. Other houses are less exclusive and do more good things for campus and the community. Other fraternities are know for bad parties or drug/alcohol use. about 30%? of campus is greek. It can be annoying on the weekends or when large greek events happen if you are a non-greek

Greek Life: If you're not Greek, it's a lot harder to have a social life, but the people in Greek life aren't typically snobby or exclusive. However, some houses clearly do not like other houses and look down upon others.

Greek Life: If you are in it, good for you and you will have the time of your life. If you are not a part of Greek life, it can make this campus a little more difficult. Non-Greek students have a harder time making connections and finding out the goings on around campus. On that note though, Greek and Non-Greek still intermingle quite a bit because of the way housing is done freshman year. you already have friend by the time Greek starts. Greek parties are easy to get into as long as you tag along with a Greek friend and most people don't shun you for not being Greek. Can be sometimes lonely, but you just have to find your own niche on campus that is not Greek. Become involved in another organization to take up ll of your free time.

Greek Life: It can be cliquey between the different sororities and some of the frats have bad reputations around campus. But honestly whether you go Greek or not you can normally get into the parties. The Greeks also have a high average GPA and do a lot of good work for campus.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life creates many of the events on campus, but only 30% or so of students are involved. There is a social pressure to become part of Greek life because it hosts so many events on campus and a majority of the people I know are involved in some kind of fraternity or sorority, but it isn't strong pressure. You're still a person whether you are involved or not, but it is a strong recommendation to join a professional fraternity for help and networking in your field. There is no housing option for professional fraternities, but there is housing available in mansions designated for each social fraternity/sorority which can be taken advantage of junior year of college.
