Health & Safety: This is a closed campus, and upon entering the campus, there are several speed bumps that prevent the possibilities of reckless driving.

Campus Housing: The value of campus housing varies depending on what residential hall you're housed in. The best are Camphor and Straight Hall. Williams has its disadvantages, but has some advantages as well.

Athletics: Track, volleyball, and basketball are the most popular sports here and those events hold a lot of importance to the culture of the school. In fact, this year the men's basketball team is making history and stories about the Bleu Devils are shown nationally on the NAIA website.

Overall Experience: Even though Dillard University is a small school, the amount of opportunities it provides are limitless. The New Orleans area alone is filled with plenty of opportunities for college students if they look in the right areas and make the right connections.

Academics: If you stay focused and do your work it may get a little hard but never too much to bear. Kearny is a good place to study. The Oaks is a good place for a study break. Professors want to see you do well.

Diversity: We are an HBCU so typically African Americans tend this school. The students vary in beliefs and backgrounds but no one is really cast out because of what they believe in.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: School as a whole is wonderful! Although, there are huge problems with the finicial aid department. Also, there are some professors that have been teaching there for years, and now base there teaching skills on favoritism and not so much of the work and effort.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: There are a variety of courses available but there could be more such as more foreign languages to choose from. I like the class sizes, the most students a class will have is at least 30-40. The professors are very attentive to their students needs and are always willing to help even outside of the class time. I have learned a lot in all of the courses that I have taken so far and I know I will be prepared for whatever comes next including being prepared for graduate school.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: This school makes sure that all students have the chance to learn more about there chosen career paths. Internships are available and all students are guaranteed an internship before they graduate. The work study program also puts students in departments related to their major. There are always career fairs advertised and the university also provides transportation to off campus career fairs. This school makes sure that their students will be prepared for their career fields and have opportunities as soon as they graduate.
