4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The overall experience is better then I first thought. DeVry regularly has seminars and career events involving potential employers as well as career fairs.

Online Courses: In my opinion the online courses don't differ too much from their on campus counterparts. You are still submitting your assignments and just about everything else the same way you would if you took the classes on campus. The only thing thats different is that there is a weekly online lecture rather then a weekly in class lecture.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Decideing on if the tuition is worth it or not is fairly hard to answer. I mean with the price tuition going up and up with each coming year you could argue that the tuition is'nt worth it at any school. Aside from that the financial aid process itself is pretty straightforward provided you get all your papers and documents turned in on time.

Career Services: The career service center is great they will help you with everything from resumes, mock interviews, and internships.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I just recently finished most of my general education credit requirements so I'm only just now getting started on classes related to my major. Overall the workload is'nt too bad but you do have to stay on your toes each session at DeVry is only eight weeks and alot of content gets packed into those eight weeks.

Academic Experience: The class registration process at DeVry is pretty simply it's all online and if you need help for whatever reason you can always contact your academic advisor.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Everyone goes out of their way to help and the student center is great.

4 College Senior

Career Services: No matter how many questions or concerns everyone at DeVry was always there to help me and explained anything I didn't understand and very supportive of me and me earning me degree, specially my professors who are always nice and understanding such as everyone at DeVry.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: SO far everything has gone smoothly and the teachers, admissions and financial people have been amazing at answering my questions in a timely matter.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I only was able to transfer one credit class from my old school due to it being a non accredited school.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid gentlemen was awesome, he listened to all my questions, explained everything and help me understand where the money goes, how much i would have to pay due to not getting full loans to cover everything.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The school offers a lot of resources including a computer lab, a library with helpful assistants in each location, student advisors, technical support, online resources for writing reports and finding valid articles or journals, and also contact information for every teacher, assistant, etc. so that they can be reached at any time.

Online Courses: I have just recently switched to being a full-time online student, so I am very familiar and accepting of the online course. I feel that they are very similar to campus courses, however you have to be more disciplined and self-sufficient. It is a great way to earn a degree when trying to work every day and also have a social life. I find it very convenient.

Overall Experience: So far, I have really enjoyed Devry University. I was attending the Ohio campus until recently when I decided to change my education to completely online. I really like that they offer an online Bachelor's degree in so many areas of study. The professors have been very helpful, allow us to email them anytime with questions or concerns, and even call them if needed.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I have seen very good statistics regarding the job placement of Devry graduates. It seems that most students are not out of college long before being scouted for a career opportunity. I am very much looking forward to graduating from Devry with so much possibility of a job directly after graduation.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I received one scholarship from the school for being a transfer student, which is very helpful. Other than that, I feel that the tuition per credit hour is a little high. I feel that they could decrease it a small amount so that more students were able to experience online learning without going into so much debt and using so much assistance, that will later have to be paid back.

4 College Senior

Student Body: The diversity at Devry is tremendous. There are so many cultures under one roof. It is a great way to learn more about others and their heritage.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: On campus they do not offer much other then your classroom and a study lab where you can print off of only 2 printers, and you can get tutor help during certain times during the week.

The tutors that are available during the week both have strong points but are limited to what they can help you with.

3 College Junior

Student Body: On campus we have a verity of ethnic backgrounds.

Most people keep religion to themselves and the only time most people will talk politics is when we are in the class room when it is required, otherwise a lot of the students will tend to keep their thoughts to themselves.

I have made a few friends that I can chat with but I only get to see them when and if I take a class on campus.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is high. Yes they offer a scholarship that you can apply for but in the long run it still cost a lot. I pay over 1,800 per class and I take two classes. When I was with UOP and the classes where more affordable.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Their is pressure to pick a major and I do not like being pressured into something when I am not 100% sure. IF you do not select one right away you do get asked often to why and what you are going to do. I have not chosen one at this time because I am still trying to figure out what I want between two.
