I am currently enrolled in the Surg Tech program at Delgado. The actual program takes place at the historical Charity School of Nursing Building now named Delgado/Charity School of Nursing. I had several pre requisite classes at Delgado City Park campus and my teachers there were outstanding! The availability of the instructors to students proved to be invaluable in my earning all A's in my classes there. Plus the science lab and students there assisting with helpful tips and tutoring added to my amazing experience at this wonderful campus across the street from beautiful city park. I look forward to the next chapter of my schooling in a building that withstood several hurricanes including Katrina and completing my program with instructors that are already being more than helpful and encouraging.

The inside is terrible. Cracks all over the place, holes in the walls, bathroom stalls missing locks, and bathrooms missing soap. The outside is gorgeous though! Classrooms are basic, but teachers don't even get chalk from the school itself.
The fun times at school are Wednesday night Art club night. All of the art is on display for everyone to attend and there is free wine and food. The sign language interpreting students even attend to practice interpreting. Lots of fun and a great way to see another side of education.

It's awesome being a business major at my school. My business teacher, Mr, Savoir, has so much experience in the business world and he has really opened my eyes to so much about the real world. He's even helped us how to invest in stocks and whatnot. My management teacher, Mr. McLean, is also phenomenal! He's tries his absolute best to keep us engaged and he has various videos on the management side of business and he tries to encourage us to be the greatest managers possible. There's also loads of internships that I have my eyes on at the moment.
