3 College Junior

Overall Experience: multiple mistakes from the school when accepting applications and announcing acceptance to students.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I have no knowledge about DU's greek life

3 College Junior

Athletics: i have no first-hand experience with the university's athletics

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: During the application process, the deadline was pushed back 2 full months without notifying those who met the original deadline. Also, there were mistakes on the acceptance and denial letters. each student in the program received a letter with the wrong person's name on it. I would expect a university to pay better attention to detail.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I wish there were more options for students who need late night classes as many non-traditional students work 9-5 jobs.

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: I recently went to career services hoping to have help with resume and internship opportunities. My first meeting the councilor "forgot" about. This was a wasted drive and wasted time. I received little help with resume and career building. I found my own opportunities through online sites such as Indeed, and Monsterjobs. For Davenport having so many resources and connections it's amazing how hard it is to find a job in my career field.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: There seems to be no problems with safety or health on the campus.

2 College Junior

Greek Life: I am not sure why this is asking about Greek life on campus.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: As a non-traditional student there are not many opportunities for scholarships/awards.

Athletics: The main campus is inviting and has the college resources. However, the satellite campuses seem to be ignored and deprived from resources. This is disappointing because it is where many of the non-traditional students go, looking for career opportunities and help.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Our campus is small, just one building, so things like assaults of any kind are really just not an issue. I feel safe and secure in our small community of students.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Being at a satellite campus there really isn't any sort of Greek life. People may be part of sororities or fraternities on paper but they don't have much of a presence on my campus beyond that.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I've only been at Davenport for a couple of semesters and have to say that I've enjoyed my experience thus far. The staff are highly competent and always helpful, the teachers know their stuff and are excellent at making themselves available and communicating with students and the programs of study are pertinent to life in the real world today.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I go to school at a satalite campus of Davenport University in Lansing, MI and not the main campus in Grand Rapids so sports are just not as big a deal for us as they may be down on the main campus. We're mostly concerned with our programs of study (many of us are non-traditional, slightly older students with lives and families outside of school) and "campus life" or the "typical" college experience isn't as important to us as it is for younger students out on their own for the first time.

4 College Junior

Athletics: Davenport is a great college. I would recommend the school to anyone.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Lots of people to talk to, general students are aware of assault and are quick to alert suspicion. Many blue phones provided for quick help and security is always around

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Great school, glad to be affiliated with it. I go to a satellite campus, and much is to be desired there than it is at the main campus

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I know when i graduate I will be able to go into my field and get a job easily because of my degree and school

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Fairly new dorm rooms, very big compared to other schools. A whole freshman building to itself so it is easy to make and stay close to friends

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Sports seem to play a huge part of the people at the school. New and improved sports facilities and buildings on campus, including a brand new football stadium for the new football team

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Very hard and small program availability. Once in, very difficult classes with tough curriculum and grading standers. Many students fail out of the program, but it is possible to time manage and learn efficient ways to study. Exams practically each week in class, must plan for lots of time to study. Teachers are great, know you by name, and will make every effort to make time and help you. Great small school feel and help.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: have enjoyed my learning experience.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: have had several job offers even though i am not quite done with school yet.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: the only real problem is at night when people have to walk to the ramp or other parking lot, a lot of women don't feel safe.

4 College Junior

Athletics: They suite the needs of the individuals that need them and they are great for events
