Online Courses: Only had a few problems with the technology

Online Courses: With the online courses I have taken, I have not had any interaction with professors or peers in person. I have spoken to professors online in the course but very limited. There is not as much as a professor/student relationship as in the traditional classroom. The registration process is easy. The workload varies depending on the course and instructor. The workload is challenging but not too easy or hard.

Online Courses: I have taken quite a few online classes while at Danville Area Community College. So far, there has not been a class that I did not like or learn anything in. I enjoy online classes at this college because it fits much better with my personal lifestyle. I live fairly far from the campus and have to about an hour to get their from my home. Because of this, online classes mean that I can save on gas, money, and have more free time. The online classes here have been so helpful that I even have taken a completely online semester, where I took four classes - all online. That semester was one of my favorite semesters at this college; not because I don't enjoy being on the campus itself, but because I enjoy spending time with my family or by myself and enjoy the online classes and professors so much. I don't believe I've felt like the workloads for each of the online classes I've taken are too much, but it is very important (as most professors in these classes will say) that self-discipline is crucial for success. I've encountered many professors that I have enjoyed extremely, both because of their ability to help with subject matter I am not sure of and of their ability to stay lenient and understand that students have lives with issues outside of just being a student. Most students in the online classes that I have taken tend not to interact with one another, and so far I've not been in an online class that required us to do so, outside of reviewing our peers postings in online discussion boards.

Online Courses: I really liked my online classes. It's a different atmosphere all together, but you still learn things. You have to be motivated to do so when taking online courses,
