College Junior

Party Scene: Small, if any, party scene. It is more of a clean fun partying

Campus Food: I have yet to visit the cafeteria as I have been going to Chic-Fil-A way too much

Campus Housing: There are a variety of on-campus housing options. There are two types of dorms, some typical dorms, and some suite style. There are also apartments, townhouses, and brownstones as options for housing on campus.

Party Scene: In the dorms there are no parties, I don't know about the brownstones

Campus Housing: Campus life is great, community is very strong.

Local Area: Not good. There's never anything to do unless you drive to downtown Dallas, Austin, or most of the students get together and drive to the Choctaw casino in Oklahoma. Nothing close. Except for an outlet mall...or going to see a Texas Rangers game.

Off-Campus Housing: Most students live on campus because that's the only way you can keep your CLS scholarship. Which most people have and everyone needs.

Overall Experience: I had some incredible professors last semester! They integrate faith and learning (which is what I pay them to do!) very well, all while keeping open minds. Even with subjects I thought I'd dislike I ended up loving the class because the professor was so passionate and fun.

Overall Experience: It's been tough to find a job on campus right now while I'm still in school, but it seems like after graduation the outlook should be good. Plus, if you want a summer internship/job you'll probably be able to find one. Just don't expect to get paid for all of them. Sorry.

Administration: It's "good" in the sense that strictness is present and enforced and "bad" in the sense that many normal college freedoms are restricted. I'm not saying I agree with every rule, but I attend a private Baptist institution. I knew what I was getting into.

Off-Campus Dining: Maybe this is because I grew up in a small town, but I think there are SO many great places to eat! And it seems like there's a fairly good variety too. My boyfriend and I have yet to run out of new places to go!

Scholarships: The process itself was easy and the people were super helpful and nice, BUT, the payoff from that was minimal. Not enough financial assistance.

Greek Life: I'm not involved with Greek life, but I'm told my almost everyone hat it's a very good thing.

Campus Housing: The dorms are just so OLD. We spent 8 million dollars on a giant chapel... Come on guys. I don't paybyou 8 million a year, but I pay enough my sleeping facilites should be more up to date.

Health & Safety: It's almsot TOO safe. We're very well taken care of and protected, but like an over protective parent, the safety limits some freedoms college age adults need to have.

Campus Food: I hope you don't want to eat on campus after 3 on Saturdays or at all on Sunday's. DBU is a small school, so I understand the limited options, but keep stuff open longer! I shouldn't have only the cafeteria to eat at on weekends.

Athletics: The baseball team is honestly the only team anybody cares about. Their team and facilities are incredible!

Campus Quality: I wish that dining options and library had longer hours, but the quality of everything on campus is great!
