York College is a very warming environment for students to attend classes and focus on their studies. My overall experience at York College for the past 3 years has been wonderful because of the close community. The professors are always willing to help and many professors try to create an environment for their students to be comfortable and at ease not only with them but with the other students in the class. It has been easy for me to approach my professors with any questions I have had after class. The professors help the students during their office hours as well. I have had some difficulties when it comes to signing up for classes as there aren't many options of selecting times that are good for one. I would recommend one to attend York College if they know what they want to do career wise. Overall, my experience with York College has been a warm one with some difficulties here and there when it comes to scheduling classes.

I had like to give thanks to the admissions' office especially the guidance counselor in general. If it was not for the counselor, I would not have enjoy the experience as much as I thought what it was going to be like. The counselor always wore a cheery face when he welcomes me. At first I did not enjoy the first few weeks of college, I was not use to it. Little by little I started to adapt to it. I made new friends. It's good that the school is not really crowded with people, it's easily to get to classes. My school has a game room which I never thought we did, it's pretty cool. I was amazed that we had play-stations and a pool table! Some counselors are really nice! The school is quite peaceful to stay in!

York College is utter garbage. There is nothing whatsoever to do throughout the day. The entire atmosphere is dead all year round. They try to have some exciting events here and there but their is ultimately A LOT of room for improvement. More teachers within the science department is needed because there is only one good professor. The other professors for lab and lecture are trash. Students consistently fail there class (that clearly says something). A lot of the teachers are not engaging whatsoever. The cafe is continuously infested with rats. They run all over the tables and basically have lunch with all the students that go there. During late hours the rats have a get together and live life to the fullest. There is no effort put toward the extermination of these rats as if they were the founding fathers of the school. The school food sold needs work. The only thing worth buying is the wings but one can only eat so much wings. The elevators are always under maintenance, the roof is always leaking, and there is always construction going on but nothing seems to get more appealing. The school is shared with a high school which makes it even more overcrowded during the day and there is always a wild animal escaping from the slaughter and finding its way to the schools campus. The community outside of the school is terrible. Cops are lingering 24/7 and someone is always getting hurt or arrested. The school entrance is literally on the same grounds as a cemetery and its very unappealing. I would never recommend York College to anyone unless you really want the cheapest education for your pockets sake. YORK.IS.TRASH
