Career Services: QCC provides workshops of what to do in the future after our college life are done. They provide career opportunities and networking opportunities.

4 College Junior

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: the college provide internship opportunities and host job fairs so students can get a job quicker

Academic Experience: What i heard the music production major is better than other campus

Overall Experience: So far the classes are great and teachers are funny

Academic Flexibility: The only thing I have had trouble with at QCC is creating my schedule. Every semester its a hassle for me because there are hardly any choices or options to choose from. You are very limited in the classes you can take and on top of that if there is a class you want to take there will be a limited schedule. I have had to take really long breaks in between classes in order to get every class I needed and sometimes ended up staying in school longer than it was necessary.

Online Courses: I personally am not a fan of online courses because I prefer visual learning and having the professor in front of me in order to explain the material. Also if I do not understand something I can easily raise my hand and ask for help in the moment. An online course you have to really basically try and teach yourself the material which is a little bit harder in my perspective. The workload is also more for an online course due to the fact that you don't see the professor as much as you would in a regular course, your grade is more based on the work you hand in, not attendance.

Career Services: I don't really know much about this topic, or anyone that has graduated from QCC. However, I do know the career services is very helpful when it comes to helping you in choosing your career path. They make appointments with you and encourage you to come back if you need anymore help. Its a great resource that is available at QCC.

Overall Experience: Most of the professors at QCC try there best to help you but the reality is no one is going to do the work for you. You have to do it on your own, and if you need any kind of help or assistance there will always be a helping hand. You just have to be willing to get up and make the movements you need to benefit yourself. For example I look a psychology class and the professor I took for 101 I also took for my next psychology class. She was extremely helpful and made things easy to understand. I got an A in both classes. It was not an easy course but if you study and work hard there should not be a problem.

Overall Experience: The quality of the career services center is excellent. They help you ever step of the way and don't mind spending as much time as they need to assist you. They re very understanding on how hard it can be to choose a career path that's right for you and will help you every step of the way. The value of a degree in this school is great because it helps you put a foot in the door if your going to continue your education.

Academic Experience: Being a liberal arts major allowed me to experience different areas of study especially since I didn't know exactly what I wanted to major in. It opened up my doors to many different possibilities and careers that are out there. The workload is never a lot if you plan your time wisely and keep up to date with it. There are many resources offered especially for liberal arts. It's important to take advantage of them in order to grow.

Overall Experience: QCC was a great school for me to start with because it was basically putting a foot through the door to help me in the future. I entered not knowing what major I wanted to purse and now I'm about to graduate in the May of 2016 with a liberal arts major. I will now be pursuing business administration and without the help of QCC and the career services team I would have not been able to move forward. I would choose QCC all over again because they were a great deal of help toward my education and success.

Academic Flexibility: Most of credits transferred. The only credits that didn't transfer was a college 101 class, math remedial and yoga class

2 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: Overload of assignments. The professor in person was so uninviting and unhelpful.

3 Recent Alumnus

Career Services: I received help exploring careers and majors. It was helpful

Overall Experience: Majority of the professors I had had a thick accent which made it difficult to understand topics at times.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: I rarely received notice of job/ internship opportunities on campus until I transferred to another school. It was quite odd how all of sudden my email was flooded with emails from QCC once I transferred to another school. Unlike QCC my new school has bulletin boards everywhere filled with up to date academic, and job/internship opportunities. My new school constantly keeps student informed of opportunities. At QCC I was lucky if I stumbled upon a good opportunity. Most of the staff were of no help and were quick to turn you away rather than help you

Academic Experience: Science lab and lecture courses were a bit fun. All materials (lab coat, goggles) were given to students.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: The school had good teachers, the math tutoring center was so helpful and the campus atmosphere is calm and inviting. The area is safe but can feel crowded because of the surrounding high school and elementary school.

Academic Experience: The professors are very nice

Overall Experience: It's a great school for new comer or students who want to get high GPA before transferring to a university. School is great but CUNY's admission office...

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I've had terrible professors here. One professor was clearly unqualified for the class she was teaching and another had the audacity to pass out Jehovah's Witness pamphlets at the end of the semester. Disgusted by the lack of professionalism or care in regards to students education.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: My experience has not been great. Out of five classes, I only felt like two of them had competent professors. The offices are very unhelpful. It is unfortunate that a student should go here and feel unprepared for the next stage of life.

Overall Experience: This school is a excellent school. I just wish I lived closer

Overall Experience: Qcc is a very good school for students who work like me . For me it's very convenient in regards to tuition fees and transportation. What makes this college very unique for me is the diversity and friendly environment that you will find at QCC. Also from my experience there are great advisers, professors and programs that motivate you to do better to pursue higher goals towards success. Being part of qcc is a great experience and I would choose this school again if could.
