Campus Quality: Pretty great from my perspective.

Campus Quality: A nice campus that is enjoyable. Don't dread the fact about classes because it is a great school with many options and enjoyable places.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: It is great in the sense that it is in its own little world, yet not to far from the city (NYC). You can see Manhattan right across the river. In a way you are far from home yet so close.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: If you are looking to attend a school that will have students consistently hanging out on the quad or activities happening daily, then you might find QC hard to adjust to. Coming from a very vibrant school in DC, I was so use to people sitting outside handing out flyers and students lounging outside. It is rare to see this.

Campus Quality: I go to a commuter school so there is not a lot of campus life and social activities. It does however have a beautiful sprawing campus, which many commuter schools in NYC do not have. The students that attend my college are very diverse in background and cultures, which makes it a very interesting place to be. It also is very affordable and the quality of education is excellent.

Based on their experiences primarily at the athletic center, library, and Student Union, most students agree that the facilities on campus are pretty great. The athletic center consists of a workout room, a full-size swimming pool, tennis courts, and a recreational gym. There is also a variety of workout machines; however, this room tends to get crowded during lunchtime. Trainers are available and offer first-time students a free half-hour training session. The library has four floors, and the staff is very helpful when approached by a student with inquiries. The Student Union, also four floors, is probably the most exciting area on campus. This is where the majority of Queens' clubs are located, and there are always things to do. Here, students will find the bookstore, the campus "Community Bank," the main cafeteria, a lounge, and a couple of other minor offices.

In terms of academics, the Aaron Copland School of Music is truly like being in a different world. The building is large and very nicely built. Plus, there are practice rooms and a music library, and concerts and shows are ongoing. There is also a beautiful area surrounded by large plants and a skylight, where students enjoy relaxing. The facilities in general are lovely and provide students with a sense of enjoyment and satisfaction on campus.
