Academic Flexibility: The flexibility of classes in my major are very reasonable and helpful. Unfortunately, the the flexibility of classes from other departments I've had to take is not the same. I've had to adjust my schedule because of this which forced me to make unreasonable changes to my work schedule. For the most part, my schedule has been ideal.

Overall Experience: At this school I have had a wonderful experience because of the different opportunities that have presented themselves. I've been invited to participate in research projects, I've traveled to different states to present at conferences, and I have professors who actually care about me as an individual and not just a statistic which is powerful.

Overall Experience: I feel like the Math professors I have had at this school have been top quality. They do a great job at instructing in the material, giving you the tools and allowing you to make connections to previous learned material.

Overall Experience: I feel like City Tech is not viewed as one of the top colleges because of the limited resources at this school. Despite this, feel certain offices and majors do a great job at standing out and making an impact on the student body.

College Junior

Online Courses: I have not taken any online courses

Student Body: It could use more improvement. I feel like unfortunately the school does not have much diversity, and could include a huge improvement in that regards. I am curious in seeing if this changes moving forward.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I find it helpful that my financial aid has covered my stay here at the school. It has been a blessing going to a school where tuition is only $3,000 a semester. This past semester I had to pay half of it, and in my last year I will also have to pay unfortunately. The financial aid office does a good job at assisting you with anything you need and in resolving your problems.

Career Services: Have not quite explored these services and am not aware if they have an office like this. Thankfully I have not needed to seek this out because I have a set of Professors that have helped me with this. There are two Professors of mine that have worked closely with me in pursuing post-grad options.

Academic Experience: I personally enjoy being in this major. The Professors who are there to assist us are very helpful. The Math classes we take are quite rigorous and are helpful in terms of allowing us to think like teachers, and in preparing us appropriately. Additionally, I find it very helpful that we have a faculty member responsible for finding eligible schools for us to go do student teaching and student observations.

Academic Experience: The registration process is not the best, but I do not blame this on the school itself but rather CUNY as a whole. Furthermore, the workload is not so much. I feel like the instructors do a great job at not assigning too much, and not assigning too little work. I look forward to my last year at the school.

Campus Resources: Not the best, it could be far better. Gives off the impression of a high school from the outside.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: credit transfer process was a breeze with no complaints.

Academic Flexibility: I was able to transfer my credits with no problem and as far as signing up for classes it is easy. I am glad that I can decide my school schedule last because I know the flexibility that lies in it. I work and I volunteer at a hospital so the flexibility is very important for me.

Overall Experience: I think what makes my school unique is that they offer the program that I am currently in. I love Biomedical Informatics and the technology in this school is makes you a resourceful person. I feel that the school gives you an endless amount of choices when it comes to potential careers. As I mentioned before I am a transfer student and I do not regret coming here the commute is even shorter.

Overall Experience: The biggest class size I have encountered was 33. The styles of teaching vary but I am able to adapt to them. The amount of courses offered in this school is beyond amazing. I think that I can say that so far I have enjoyed every course I have taken at this school.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The reason I say it is okay is because I prefer to be in a lecture than take a course online. I prefer a hybrid course which is partially online but not fully online. I feel like I learn better when a professor lectures. The workload becomes harder when you do not have someone face to face explaining things to you. It is easy to register, see your grades and the powerpoints but like I said before I prefer a lecture hall.
