Overall Experience: People come here and complain about this school as if it is supposed to be a university. Community colleges are for people who need to get the best bang for their buck and have convenience at the same time. I think I made the right decision coming to this school. I met a lot of good people and had some awesome professors. My tip is to come here and make the best of the things they have to offer here because it really can help you in the future. If you don't want to go to a "Community College", don't. But also do not poorly rate a school because it is not a University.

Overall Experience: Everything is amazing, the class sizes are pretty small so it is better for your professors to know you personally.

Overall Experience: They always have job fairs at the school. However, I am already working so I was not able to attend one.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's pretty good. I've gotten a good deal here. We can pay in parts at any time online. I pay less than $500 a semester.

Academic Experience: My major is Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). The workload is pretty tough here, its mostly science and math. A lot of anatomy, physiology and psychology. So of course, STUDY STUDY STUDY!

Academic Experience: The professors are amazing. I've actually had an English professor who opened my eyes and informed me about my own history. How blind I was !! The rest of the professors I've had were extremely helpful, and some even give their personal phone numbers because they care so much. Love them all.

Campus Resources: The student resources here are pretty amazing. They have offices and support if you don't remember your password for Blackboard! The library is currently being renovated, so we have to borrow books from other CUNY schools. I am currently working, so unfortunately I am not able to attend much college activities, however they are always posted around the school! From plays, Black History discussions (my favorite!!), and events for students who have trouble learning or have problems socially. They also never judge you and the professors are pretty good. The gym is pretty small, usually the basketball team stays there, but they have a pretty huge swimming pool with a lot of activities! This school is pretty amazing!

Campus Resources: There are plenty of resources but the faculty is somewhat unhelpful. A lot of them dislike their jobs and it makes it hard for students to feel comfortable enough to ask and enjoy the resources.

Campus Resources: The Resources on 'Lagcc' have many activities where the students can find many opportunities and help. The athletic center is very comfortable and free for all the students and also offers us many Gym class, summing classes and others to learn. The libraries is a place were we can concentrate very well and the space to students to feel comfortable. Also, the libraries contains many books and tutors around. 'Lagcc' is the college of the most activities, every the there is something new you can find intrusting.

Academic Flexibility: Sometimes the classes conflict with each other whilst registering. It is easier to transfer credits here if you previously went to a CUNY school.

Overall Experience: The professors are of average quality. RateMyProfessor is very helpful when choosing your classes.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I am not too sure about this topic.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is low and affordable and financial aid usually covers most or all of it.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I don't know about many classes or special study options. The class registering process is very stressful, when you have classes that you really want in your cart, they always seem to conflict within your schedule.

Academic Experience: The major that I originally wanted to apply for was not available. I wanted to apply as a Political Science major and that does not exist instead, I had to apply under Liberal Arts: Social Sciences and Humanities.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is not an abundance of resources that are well known. This is especially relevant to new students.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The campus resources are great. I can implement the campus' resources in my research papers.

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility has been great. It was not too far from me, I could get every class I wanted at a good time, and I was not pulling hairs out... That much. It's all how you handle it. Some would say that I handled it greatly, but the school allows you to do so if you are really on top of things. It is always going to come down to you going for it and getting it. Just stay on track and open to anything than can happen.

Overall Experience: The best experience. I've gotten to travel the country and do what I love to do. I have received so many accolades and I am awed thinking back on it. I have met so many students that have brought out the best in me. The same goes for professors. I think I am more sure about myself because of this experience. I feel like I am ready to take that next step and if that step is a leap, then so be it. I have complete gratitude for everything handed my way. I've made it through tough times and ended up a winner. I entered with my head all over the place and left with my head up and focused. It's not a game anymore. This is real life for me and this experience made me want to continue what I've been scared to do.

Overall Experience: Great relationships with my professors. Wouldn't trade it for the world. In my major, theatre it's very easy and family oriented. In other major I know that it is very competitive and not a lot of relationships are built, but for me it was amazing. I can't complain about anything, literally. I got every class I needed and I finished up in a reasonable time and I am not mad or dissatisfied. The classes and professors were amazing. Loved every minute of my experience.

Overall Experience: It's crazy to think of the overall experience and have to date back, but I don't ever remember complaining about these things. Bunch of people recruiting on site at the school. Transfer fairs and job fairs a couple of times throughout the school year. They keep in touch with you even after you graduate. It's very, very cool after all is said and done. Treat you like family and it makes you feel good. Like you are appreciated.

Online Courses: I have never taken an online course, but you have an online software for the math courses and it's a cool software. Something good to work around and very convenient. I've heard many say that the online courses are cool. Literally cool. People seem to like the state of being at home and not having to go completely out of your way to receive education in a class.

Student Body: I can't speak too much on this topic but viewing certain things in the student body I will say it's okay. Don't expect too much. I say the thing is that these are just students at the end of the day that are learning. You can't hold them accountable to the full extent because when you don't know, you learn by trying and doing. It may be totally wrong, it may be pretty good. It is hit or miss at such a young phase. I say the procedure and the time being builds character and pride in your work. It's something cool to do and surround yourself around. Attempts are always good no matter what if you look at it that way.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I received full tuition because of financial aid. I am very fortunate. It is truly a blessing and I use it to the best of my ability and making sure I am getting in college and my degree and getting out. I'm not going to free load to the "Full" extent. As for people who pay out of pocket or gain very little financial aid, it is very stressful and builds a lot of pressure. Having to work to pay for tuition or to keep money in your pockets while your parents pay your tuition sucks. I wish college was free to be honest, but it's a different time. I know that there are a bunch of problems in the financial aid office and people end up having their tuitions messed up and all that bad stuff. So, for me it was great, but in reality it is okay? sorta, sorta not. It depends on how on top of your tuition you are. Don't leave it up to the people at the office even though you should. It's your money and try to waste the least of it. You feel me?
