Academic Flexibility: Many morning classes are not available, and my schedule is very unbalanced and stressful. I do not know what classes are need in my schedule, but my advisers expect me to do it all my by self, when I do not know what and how to do it. No one or nothing informs me.

Online Courses: The site itself is very slow, and some times freezes for half of the class time. Also some systems are vey very difficult to understand, and takes a while to figure out which is where.

Career Services: I have been to the transfer advising office and my general adviser several times, but all of them tell me different informations and and required classes in order to transfer in to the the collage I want. They have told me I need these classes to get in the collage while the other adviser tells me the opposite information. It make me worried, and think who to believe and who to trust.

Overall Experience: I wish their were more options on class schedules. Many classes only offer the night time classes, when many people want their classes in the morning in oder to work their night time shifts.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: It seems like as everyone just wants to go through their life, and pass their classes. We do not really socialize unless it is an class assiment or asking for the access to get more credits.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have not stared my major yet because it starts in session 2, and because of my schedule is packed with other classes I have to have.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Some teachers and advisers are unexperienced of what they are doing. and are not good at explain the topic of what the students really need. I the quality of the people who teaches increase, then the students will improve too.

Overall Experience: I am a ASAP student. This program is really great. They have their own advisor and tutor. I really do not have to think about registration for classes because my advisor is there to help me and if there is any problem with my studies then I can go for tutoring.

Overall Experience: I joined LaGuardia Community College at 2015. It was hard for me but the professors and resources made my life easier. Whenever I had conflict I got help from tutors and even now as I am still a student I get help. They have great sources for their students.

Academic Flexibility: Students are forced to take classes that they have passed again upon transfer. My partner, who also enrolled at LaGuardia, had taken 60 or so credits at a well known four-year university. LaGuardia only accepted 12 of those credits and rejected his college algebra, English 102, and psychology courses despite passing. This caused him to need to take those classes AGAIN in order to meet the prerequisites for his major.

Career Services: Being a two-year university, I don't think that there are any graduate programs at all. Although I do believe that a good number of professors are grad students, but I suppose that does not count. I have not heard of an alumni network at LaGuardia, I don't believe the job prospects are very promising. Holding a degree from LaGuardia is not particularly impressive.

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: The course selection is very general. Class sizes are a problem at the beginning of the semester, there are probably 25+ students per class. Many of which are very distracting. But eventually time weeds out the students without enough motivation to even show up and classes become more personal and intimate.
