3 College Freshman

Administration: there are some professors that are great, however like in any college there are some that are terrible as well.

3 College Student

Administration: They do not enforce many on campus rules such as smoking. Attendence is a must for many classes.

4 College Freshman

Administration: The campus is pretty relaxed and chill. Maybe i haven't gotten into enough trouble with the administration to know how strict they are. But, they seem pretty friendly. They are strict with ids when coming into the library at times. That can get annoying. But other than that, its pretty easy going.

3 College Junior

Administration: The school's policy is mostly irrelevant as the Professors usually ignore or modify the policies for their particular class.

CCNY maintains a strict drug policy that ensures anyone caught with illegal substances will be severely penalized—expulsion is possible. However, the incidence of drug use on campus is extremely rare. Most students are commuters, so taking drugs and drinking alcohol on campus is not a big interest. New York City is a large place, and drug use does happen, however it is mostly isolated from campus.

Security is everywhere, and police are vigilant, which keeps City free of common college vices. ID cards are required to enter dorms and some campus buildings, and while some may see this as a hassle, it helps ensure safety from common crimes. It's important to keep in mind that since this is a commuter school, campus life isn't highly controlled.
