Cumberland is a great step blocking for starting a change in your life. There great diversity among students with professors who teacher at well known University's that you get for a lot cheaper. Most teachers care about individual success and the school works with many different circumstances. I have loved playing soccer there and the clubs seem like a lot of fun. The downfall is your not going make friends here because many students are playing multiple roles (dad, worker, student) and advisement tends to not know what they're talking about. So please for the sake of saving yourself time and money talk to at least one college your looking into transferring to in a couple years and find out what credits transfer!!! However, you can't beat the price.

Workout area is small, hard to find time for. There is, almost weekly, something going on on campus. The library is very resourceful and I spent way more time there than I had anticipated I would. Campus overall is gorgeous, all times of the year. Lawn is kept cleaned and there is student's art on the paths. Beautiful!

There are two types of teachers in this world. There are teachers who are there for their students and have a passion for teaching and then there are those who teach just because they didn't know what else to do. The ones that are there because of a passion ended up being the greatest teachers I've ever had and are my favorite part about Cumberland County College. On the other hand, there are a few teachers that I've had that only give busy work and are extremely strict and you can just tell they don't want to be there. I personally have no complaints about the school itself, just a few professors I've had because other than that I've had a great two years there.
