Academic Experience: I am going to school to become a special education teacher. I feel I am able to get a lot of my classes that I am going to need for my major with lots of recommendations for what four year college to attend to complete my degree.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: There is some self teaching in some courses or programs, however, instructors are readily available and are eager to help you succeed.

Academic Experience: The Psychology Autism option is a unique major. The first year is really easy and really picks up in the second year if you choose. I love it. I can not wait to transfer to a 4 year college and further my degree

Academic Experience: At first I was going to be a teacher, which included quite the workload. There was obviously the teacher based courses, but also a few general courses that I could use in any associates degree. The curriculum was pretty straight forward and there is always a need for teachers so I wasn't too worried about missing out on a job opportunity. Although life happened and I got married, had a baby, and now have another on the way so I switched to a certificate degree in which I will hopefully be able to graduate with within the next year and be able to find a job I like that will help me support my family. I look forward to seeing what the workload looks like and hope the facilities are relaxed enough that I will be comfortable enough to soak up all the teacher has to offer.
