The computer resources at Cowley College are fantastic. From the reliability to the availability, the speed to the convenience, Cowley's resources make internet access a breeze. Wireless internet access is provided free of charge in the dorms; but what if you don't have a laptop? Not a problem! Through the IMPACT program, laptops can be rented out to students at no cost. The speed and reliability of the network are fantastic. The school's site for viewing coursework online does occasionally have problems, but they usually do not last very long. There is really no need to have a personal computer/printer unless a student needs internet access primarily at night (when the campus library is closed).

The cost of the school is great! And the school feels like a second home, I will always consider this school my favorite school because everybody is welcoming and helpful. Though I have previously got scholarships here the first time around I came here, but recently coming back it was hard. I think for returning students they can have another scholarship available if they chose to come back here for another degree or different career field choice. The academic programs are awesome and the social scene is great. The facilities have been slowly and recently updated, which makes a huge improvement!
You never have to fear for asking for help because someone is always willing to help you. Sometimes someone will see a problem and come to ask if they can help before you ask!

I have had many online courses since I have been attending Cowley College. In most instances, I prefer the online courses. I have found that they work better with my schedule and I also like that the students can basically choose when they have "class time". I feel that online courses also help students with their work ethic. Almost all of the online classes require discussion posts once a week along with replies to peers. This helps further students' education and learning by interacting and reading about other students opinions or just what they understood from the chapter/week. It can be extremely easy to procrastinate with online courses since students are not required to be at a specific place at a certain time. It can also be extremely easy to forget assignments if the student does not have a good system of keeping track of everything that they need to do. The only critique that I have about taking classes online is that it is harder to communicate with the instructors and get questions answered. Also, when it comes to classes that are specifically for the student's degree it is better, in my opinion, to take them in class because it is easier to understand and learn what the subject.
