3 College Freshman

Parking: The long distance of the parking ramp to the building makes it tough to leave campus quickly (like if you need to head to work!).

3 College Freshman

Parking: At CUW, we have a three level parking structure for students to utilize. The school is connected by tunnels and hallways and the structure is the only building that is not connected to the tunnel system. I currently do not have a car on campus, so I am not as affected as other students who do have a car on campus.

5 College Freshman

Parking: I have a car and live on campus. Not too bad for me to get around. New parking structure, which is a little cold to walk to considering the rest of the school is connected by tunnels.

4 College Student

Parking: The cost for campus parking is very reasonable and any one can do it if they want to.

3 College Junior

Parking: The University just built a new parking structure, but there is still a shortage at times during high volume periods of the day. The permit/semester for on-campus students is $100, which isn't bad at all.

The parking situation is best described as a battle. Students complain about the lack of parking. There is sufficient parking, but students will have to park farther away from buildings. There is no parking fee, but students are requested to register their vehicles so Campus Safety can contact them when there are problems. Freshmen are allowed to have a vehicle on campus.

All students and faculty must go to the Campus Safety Office to register their vehicles. You will need info such as the year/make/model of your car, as well as license plate info. You will then be issued a colored registration sticker which goes on the lower corner of your rear window of the driver's side of your car.
