3 College Freshman

Athletics: There's less fan support, school spirit, etc than there was at my High School. The weight room also really needs some updating. It's dangerous right now.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There are a TON of apartment complexes near Concordia. Living on campus is only better for the convenience factor. 620 traffic is not pleasant in the mornings, but I think it's totally worth it so you can move off campus

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The plaza directly across from Concordia has a Freebirds, Freddie's, Schlotsky's, nice Mexican restaurant, and Whataburger. If you have a car, Kerbey, BJs, and other places aren't too far.

1 College Freshman

Party Scene: Concordia is a commuter campus with strong Christian values. There aren't parties at all, really. If you want to party you have to go to UT or 6th Street.

2 College Freshman

Campus Food: When you purchase your meal plan the typical plan is 15 meals per week, but if you don't use them you lose them. On weekends there's only brunch and dinner. Cafeteria hours aren't great. The food quality tends to make a lot of people sick to their stomachs but you eventually will get used to it and not get sick anymore.

College Freshman

Campus Housing: There are good and bad things. The dorms are new, so you have a lot of space and your own shower. But, there is only one housing building and it's apartment style, so all hallways are outdoor which prevents there being a residential community. Parking in front of the dorms is very limited as well. It's also a commuter campus primarily, so it's a ghost town on weekends, which causes a lot of people that live in the dorms to go home for the weekends.

Overall Experience: Really make you feel important

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: In workforce so makes aid difficult

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There are several options nearby, but the prices are high.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I tend not to dine off campus, so I wouldn't be sure.

3 College Freshman

Administration: Visitation policy could definitely use some review.

College Freshman

Party Scene: There don't really seem to be parties here, but I'm not very in the loop.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: It's a lot easier if there aren't any mistakes on your FAFSA.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The pizza is always decent, but that may just be a personal bias.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The rooms are small and cramped. There is no difference in size between a triple room and a single room. There are just more beds. The walls are thin enough for you to hear a conversation in the next room if you're quiet, which isn't fun when trying to sleep.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: Gym, locker rooms, weight rooms, baseball field, track, and they're adding a softball field. No football here though.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Four of five apartment complexes nearby.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Freddie, Whataburger, Chicken Express, Chic-fil-a, Panda Express, Taco Bell, Taco Cabana, and a ton of restaurants, grills, coffee shops, etc.

5 College Freshman

Administration: Everything they tell you will be enforced is enforced.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: They hand out scholarships like it's candy here.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: It's better if you go off campus. Housing policies, quiet hours, etc. are pretty tight.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Breakfast is always good, lunch and dinner it's a toss up for if it'll be good or not.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: It depends on what you're studying. Nursing and Theology programs are good, and other majors are pretty good- but when you want to go to grad school or try to land a job, you might catch more attention with a bigger, more prestigious school on your resume. The student life, activities, and environment are great here, though.

4 College Freshman

Administration: They have everyones safety as their top priority.

1 College Freshman

Scholarships: I'm still dealing with it, and im in much financial need.
