4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus security do a very well job of maintaining safety for everyone on campus.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The class sizes are great, but the professors are even greater here!

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: There's a ton of opportunities here for internships, and volunteering.

Campus Housing: The dorms are nice because the lobby next to them has a tv, and pool table as well as fooseball, and a ping pong table. Some of my best memories of the dorms are playing ping pong.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: The fan support is awesome because we have our own personal chants! However I would say that sports is not the most important thing in school, it would be the friendships and relationships you build here that will forever change your life.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Some really fond memories I have of CTX is the student activities like paintball, going on a party boat, bonfires, and fun christian parties! I would choose this school again because the professors here actually care about you and want a relationship with you, as well as the students!

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The security is very efficient and do provide safety

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Every professor is willing to help

Campus Housing: Very good, just lack of activities or space for all housing residents

Greek Life: we don't have greek life

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Love sports, not the best I've seen

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I am very excited to attend CTX and the staff so far is exceptional.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I myself am not any athlete or interested in sports, so I am not a good judge on this topic.

Health & Safety: Safety of our students is great at Concordia. We have a great and you have to have a id to get into the school.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Most of all my class are great with size and professors and things of that natural. I just had one teacher who didn't like athletes and I was already struggling in the class, I was going to SI session very week and asking for help all the time. She didn't seem to care about anything that was going with me. My gramdma died during the semester and she didn't have sympathy or desire to help me.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: from what I hear from other students All that stuff is really good at our school.

4 College Junior

Athletics: The athletic department is great it is becoming to be one of the best in the conference great coaches and great athletes go along with it!

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: This school was my second choice. I transferred from Texas A&M Kingsville. I had a really bad experience there. Altering coming to Concordia I believe this is the best choice for me. Great environment, closer to home and the staff really cares about you.

Academics: It has been inconsistent and frustrating, majority of professors feel that you are only taking their course and have a huge workload. There is also obvious favoritism shown towards students in the class.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Unless you are graduating in one of the religious degrees, there is no help for internships, must find on your own. Campus still has a small time feel, even though it is growing and needs to reach out more into the community to help the students.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Class size small, inconsistencies with professors teaching same courses. Lack of multiple course availability and times. Variety is low.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: The guarded entrance and police presence helps with the air of safety on the campus.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: With a small college there will always be issues with professors who show favoritism, and it is obvious with the class sizes being small. Additionally, there is little help with Internships that are not involved with the religious aspects of the school's curriculum. If you are not Lutheran, the mandatory two semester Old and New Testament courses are challenging and almost taught as if the student was there to become a Minister. Additionally, courses will be dropped or switched to an alternate semester, causing many students to have to stay additional time at the college or forced to get approvals to take courses, not in their college course list, that are much harder due to the fact that they are in another degrees area. i.e Financial/Accounting courses for non - majors have been dropped or switched out for those courses designed for the Accounting major.

Overall Experience: My overall experience at Concordia University Texas has been excellent. I was truly blessed to be accepted into this University. The teachers and students are very nice, knowledgeable, helpful and supportive. I actually had a fear of attending a University but Concordia University Texas helped me to overcome that fear and instead gain more confidence and have an ambitious attitude. I would chose my University in a heartbeat over any other University in my city because the school is very passionate about education and religion.

Overall Experience: The environment and community on campus is great! I love that it is a small college. My only issue is that I need to take a lot of chemistry classes and the chemistry department professors are terrible, so I am forced to go to the local community college for all of my required chemistry classes.
