Party Scene: Columbia students don't really "party" like the cliche state school would. If anything, there will be a house party somewhere north that a few students will go hang out at. Sharing conversations over good music and a cigarette. Maybe I just don't get invite though... Hahah. I don't know.

Party Scene: Plenty of parties circulate around campus: you just have to find the right person to get in. House parties and school events are free but parties run by Premo or other organizations cost at least ten dollars. The best parties I've been to have been on the west side and the Black Out parties that happen in one of the campus buildings.

College Freshman

Party Scene: I don't party so I wouldn't know what it's like. People seem to have a lot of fun on the weekends.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: If you want to find parties, you can I guess. It's who you know, and we are in a city, so there are plenty. But really, you do have to know people in order to find out where.

5 College Freshman

Party Scene: It's hard to meet people everyone is in cliques

Club ListingsWhat's This?

South Loop Club

This "club" screams "boys only," with its sports bar atmosphere and burger-slinging kitchen. And if the male-dominated crowd isn't enough indication of what you're in for, check out the TVs; they're all tuned to sports, sports, and more sports. Athletic posters, flags, and beer signs give this corner bar all the glam of a college dorm room. Luckily, the South Loop Club has more beer choices than your standard fraternity fridge.
