4 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Everyone has their own unique style, but yet are very sociable and compatible with other peoples personalities.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Everyone is open to new things which is great! Since everyone is different from one another, no one is quick to judge and everyone becomes friends with everyone despite the difference in majors.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: everyone are pretty nice, most people dress nice

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Everyone has their own style, there's no general dress. It's an art college, people have different personalities and it shows through how they style themselves. There aren't many people in relationships here, mostly one nighters. I'm a girl and the guys are okay, though I was highly disappointed. I think if you're looking for an attractive group of guys, go to DePaul or just hang out in the financial district.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: People are overall pretty cool and attractive.

Facts & Statistics

Female Undergrads
Male Undergrads
Birth Control Available?
You will find condoms all over campus. Columbia also hosts a yearly wellness fair that provides STD testing, condoms, and facts about safe sex.
Social Scene
Because Columbia is located in the heart of the third largest city in America, the social scene expands to the size of the city. Within the dorms, there are always events going on for students to take part in, and off campus, there is an infinite number of parties, hangouts, and student events going on. You just have to find what it is you're looking for, and Columbia will be catering it.
Hookups or Relationships?
At Columbia, there are hookups and breakups, new relationships and old relationships, just like any other college. A lot of relationships spring up out of the dorms and classes.
Dress Code
No dress code here. There is, however, an unwritten rule to be "different," and wear whatever you want. If you're happy, it makes no difference what you're wearing. It's Chicago for crying out loud.
