1 College Senior

Greek Life: No Greek life whatsoever, even further alienating students from the school and each other.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I actually wish we did have Greek life. There are sometimes some Greeks that may come to the Black Student Union meeting that I have gone to. They advertise parties and events that they are having. These Greeks have either been students from DePaul University, Roosevelt University or UIC because those school do have Greeks.

1 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Personally I do not like greek life. Lucky for me there is no greek life at my school so I do not have to deal with it.

Columbia does not have Greek life, yet Columbia is proud of that. Student life is so rich with activities, organizations, clubs, and events that Greek life is pretty unnecessary. You won't be disappointed. Community is something Columbia does very, very well.

Residence Life promotes community-building activities that Resident Assistants are in charge of in every dorm. Each week, each month, and each season, RAs are working their tails off to bring their floor together to build a rich and thriving community on their floor. Activities include everything from trips to the Field Museum to Sunday Sundaes.
