Campus Housing: The dorms are all located close to the academic buildings and signing up for which dorm one would like to live in is easy and you generally get the first preference of the dorm you want to live in, and after that first year, you can choose the exact room you want to live in.

5 College Junior

Campus Housing: I am taking classes online with Columbia College and I love their format on their website school. I have taken classes with other schools and had a hard time with the format of the online classes. I am glad I have transferred to Columbia because their format for the online classes are great, easy to follow, and user friendly.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love the dorms. We have very open lounges with comfortable couches, and fun pool tables or ping pong tables. The kitchen and laundry is easily accessible. The only thing I would change is our shower curtains because they don't let in much light. We are separated enough from the guys, but can still hang with them when we want.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: small room but get cable and internet. free laundry is nice. good atmosphere and friendly hall mates.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Housing: The buildings are older than some of the across-town Mizzou buildings where students have more freedom and space.

Columbia College offers a wide variety of housing options for students. From the traditional dorm rooms of Hughes Hall to the modern apartments of Cougar Village, dorms offer options for all students. The dorms also offer students several services, such as computer labs, free laundry services, and suite-style bathrooms. Handicapped students are welcomed and encouraged to contact the Residential Life Department for special arrangements.

Everyone living in a dorm is required to buy a meal plan, limiting the students' choice in terms of food. Also, there are no men-only dorms, and only one women-only dorm, limiting those options as well. Two out of three dorms and Cougar Village are coed facilities.
