Party Scene: There are clubs in the downtown area and if one is willing to travel, they can go to the parties at MU.

Administration: The campus security are good at there job and they are very kind and helpful.

Scholarships: Getting financial aid organized is generally pretty easy and if there are any difficulties, meeting with a financial aid officer can help sort out any problems.

Campus Food: There are a few meal plans to choose from and a dining hall and a cafe to choose from to eat at. The variety of food available is good and they gladly accommodate those with food allergies.

Campus Housing: The dorms are all located close to the academic buildings and signing up for which dorm one would like to live in is easy and you generally get the first preference of the dorm you want to live in, and after that first year, you can choose the exact room you want to live in.

Majors: I thoroughly enjoy my current program. I am interested in learning about the human mind and the courses that I have taken thus far have provided me with a wealth of useful information. The workload is relatively heavier than a traditional school because the classes are done in 8-week sessions. However, if you space out the work and stay on top of things, it's easy to do very well.

Academics: If you take the time and utilize the tools afforded to you by CC, you will do very well. The one thing that really stands out to me is the Stafford Library link. It allows you to look up things based on topic and you can narrow it down to peer-reviewed works to guarantee validity of sources used in your reports.

Overall Experience: Of all of the universities that I have attended, I have had the best experience with CC. Even while attending the 8-week sessions on Redstone Arsenal, the instructors were knowledgeable, the coursework was straightforward, and the costs were affordable.

Overall Experience: The courses are intense because they are shorter but the instructors make sure that you have the material needed in order to do well. Most of the instructors are very organized and are usually available for additional assistance.

Overall Experience: I've only had one issue but it had to do with not being informed about spacing out financial aid to include the summer semester. That has since been rectified.

4 College Junior

Administration: There are reminders sent out every session about the things that will and won't be tolerated i.e. drug/alcohol use. The instructors also add a list of policies at the end of their respective syllabus.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: It was easy to navigate the necessary forms and there are multiple scholarships, especially for military, that are available every school year.

Scholarships: They were able to answer any questions I had even with the difficulty of getting my aid figured out.

Campus Housing: I am taking classes online with Columbia College and I love their format on their website school. I have taken classes with other schools and had a hard time with the format of the online classes. I am glad I have transferred to Columbia because their format for the online classes are great, easy to follow, and user friendly.

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus housing can be expensive, but it's affordable if you have living mates.

Off-Campus Dining: There is a restaurant in the area to satisfy any craving.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: Campus policies keep order on campus but do not impede activities.

Scholarships: Once I got a feeling of what I needed to do to get financial aid, the process went smoothly.

Campus Food: It's good compared to other cafeterias, but it's still a cafeteria.

Overall Experience: The school itself is great. The adviser and getting them on the phone for advice is/was my biggest frustration!

Overall Experience: Good luck getting a hold of your adviser...they hibernate between the sessions and screen phone calls. When you get them on the phone, get all your questions out then, because it will be a lifetime to get them back on again. Good luck with emails too, as they are a lost cause.

2 College Senior

Scholarships: Takes forever to get an answer to important questions, let alone get ahold of anybody important. Yet, admissions picks up within a few rings.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: There are all types and kinds of dining in Fort Worth

3 College Senior

Athletics: I don't know much about it but I do know that on our announcements and news we are informed of what is going on with our school's sports teams.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: I don't really believe there are scholarships for all types of students at my school. I am a single mother with a special needs child, another daughter that is pregnant and trying to finish high school, and another daughter that goes to my school as well. I don't have any talents, don't like to really write essays unless I can choose my topic (but seriously don't have time), and I'm not in the military or have family in the military. I had Masons in my family and a mayor and a chief of police in my family, my father committed suicide when I was six, my grandparents adopted me, and there aren't scholarships in any of these categories.
