Off-Campus Dining

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Whenever the students get tired of the cafeteria or do not have time to make it, there are many options off campus. There is a large scale in which students can choose from with price and taste preference. There are many fast food restaurants that are good with food and money. There are also many restaurants that are there for better food. Also, it is easy to find a place open at any time.

Off-Campus Dining: There are not many options of dining out in Pueblo compared to big cities. We have very few options and it is mostly fast food or chain restaurants.

Pueblo is a small town, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to be missing any of your favorite restaurants; there's every fast food restaurant you can think of. However, while Pueblo has plenty of chain joints, it lacks in nice, higher-end restaurants. There is an Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Texas Roadhouse, and a Golden Corral. Apart from this selection, there aren't a lot of big-name, high-end restaurants. However, there are restaurants that are only in Pueblo that many people have never heard of, including DJ’s Steak House.

If you're one of those people who needs a particular chain restaurant in order to survive, make sure you check if there is one before you make any decisions. Off-campus dining areas are in town, so you would have to drive about a mile or two in order to get to the street where all of the restaurants are. The fast food places have drive-thrus, so during the Colorado winters, you don’t have to get out of your car. All in all, there aren’t many complaints on campus about off-campus dining. Just about everyone can make do with the provided options.
